igrus tries to go on a date

Igrus was at the mall and he pulled out his cell phone and called Lanette, "hello?" Igrus has almost never used his phone.

Lanette answered her phone. "Hello? who is this?"

"This is Igrus I wanted to know if you wantes to maybe hang out at the mall."

*A shadowy figure in the background watches and listens carefully, before fading into the background. 'A date at the mall, eh? My little igrus isn't going to get anyone but me~!'*

"It is a date then." Igrus realized too late what he said.

Lanette laughed. "Okay, I'll meet you there. Just let me get ready." She hung up the phone.

Igrus waited at the mall for lanette, normally he would know if someone was shadowing him. This is a rare case where his senses were clouded by thoughts of lanette.

*Silently following him, she hides near where he was meeting that weird tenta-girl* "My Igrus! That wretch won't have him!" *Nozomi speaks aloud by accident, and covers her mouth, hoping she wasn't heard*

Igrus snapped out of the haze when he heard the girl yelling. He walked over to where he heard it.

*'eep', he heard me!' She scrambled away as he approached, hoping to not be seen*

Igrus was out of her sight long enough to sneak up on her and grab her shoulder and speak in her ear. "Tag your it, though playing hide and seek with me is not fair for you. I trained myself since the age of three to fight demons and catch assailants that wanted my rank." Igrus sounded a bit cold.

*She shivered. He'd caught her...she wasn't supposed to be seen until that wretch showed up to meet him* "D-d-d-don't mind me...I-I-I-I w-w-wasn't here!" *She got up and ran away as fast as she could, till she thought she'd lost him* "...I blew my cover...how am I going to ruin their date now?"

He caught up with her again, "I wasn't done talking. You interest me a lot, I can't read your emotions." Igrus backed up, "I have plans with someone but maybe later you can tell me about yourself." Igrus dropped a piece of paper on the ground with his information on it. He then started to walk away, "later tonight if you don't mind call me my name is Igrus Nekomi." Igrus was clueless that this girl hand any interest in him.

*She blushed* "..." *She picked up the paper* "H-h-his..." *She snapped to her senses. 'I mustn't let this affect me, I must ruin his date!'*

Igrus went back to the meeting place and waited for lanette.

A portal opened near Igrus and Lanette stepped through wielding a small dagger and the portal closed behind her. "Sorry to keep you waiting."

*Nozomi returned to her original hiding post, and saw the girl appear, holding a dagger. 'She's going to harm my Igrus!'*

Igrus looked at her strangely, "what an enterance."

"Oh, sorry about that, I figured I should hurry so I grabbed this from the lab. It is based on technology from an alien we captured. It cuts holes in the fabric of space-time for quick transportation." *The dagger vanished in a small flash. "And it stores itself in hammer space when not needed."

*Nozomi was confused. 'What just happened to the dagger?'*

Igrus thought a minute, "My mom can open a portal to demon world. I wanna take it apart one of these days, it seems like a cool piece of technology. Even though I can teleport humans could take advantage of it." Igrus dropped the geek talk, "so I was thinking we could have lunch and get to know each other."

"Sure, sounds like fun. I should warn you that I am on a diet though."

*'Their having lunch!? Not on my watch!' Nozomi makes ready to knock the girl off the ledge behind her, onto the floor one story down*

"What can you eat?" Igrus started to remeber every single restaurant in the mall and all the items on the menu.
