| Behind him, from a trees shadow, Dark Ray rose up. "Welcome back, old friend." Only on a mere quarter of his full power, he was able to shapeshift from physical to shadow, and move on average speed. Attacks were out of the question, not to mention full combat. | |

| The portal collapsed right after, and Dark Ray felt a shift in the Human World. Something had changed hands, an item he was rather familiar with. He sunk into the ground, merging with the shadow of a tree again, and vanished towards the Human World. | |
