Nightly Stroll

Ashura had snuck out of the house from the monster world at night leaving a note for Takumi to know that he went out. He wandered around the forest just feeling at peace for now. "Hmm....so I'm going to take a break from m work tonight." He then laid back and yawned sitting against a tree.

Noticing a guy sat against the base of the tree he was in, he let a sigh. -Even if I switch to another World, people still manage to get in my way.- He just tried to ignore him, and went further with his book.

He sat up and then sighed. "Hmm....I should drop in on mink tomorrow." He then stood up and stretched.

"Everyone knows everyone these days." He just styaed on the branch he was on. "Which of her friends is it this time?"

He then sat back down. "Been a while since I've seen mom anyway so that should be a surprise." He then yawned and laid back against the tree

Zayn broke off a branch, a rather small one, to prevent him from etting hurt, and let it drop right on the guy's head. "Yo, I was asking something."

He moved to the side before it hit him and he caught the branch. "What was your question and why drop a branch on me?"

"You were slightly ignoring me. And the question, kinda simple. which of Minks friends are you, the good ones or the ones who say they are good but actually don't care one bit?"

"She raised me since I was a kid....I guess you could say i'm her foster son." He then sat back down.

"Typical her. Figures." He jumped down, landed handily, and turned around to look to the guy. "I'm Zayn."

He took his hand and shook it. "I'm Ashura. So why do you want to know how I know mom?" He then stood up and dusted himself off but watching Zayn at all times.

"Your mom? Well, I guess I can say I didn't see that one coming. Glad to meet you, mate. Mink's my sister." Unnoticeable, he summoned forth a small breeze of wind, dusting both of them off for the biggest part.

He blinked. "Well she's more like my foster mom since i'm not adopted but she took me in and raised me." He then blinked. "But if she's your sister that means your like family to me then." He smiled a bit his fangs showing now.

"Well, always a pleasure meeting new family members." He patted him on his shoulder, strong enough to transmit the message of his strength, but not close enough to knock him over, or hurt him.

"Nice to meet you too." He then stretched and looked up at the sky. "So...have you noticed any hunters around? I don't mean like hunting animals either."

"I know which you mean. And yes, I have seen some. Keyword being seen. You don't need to worry bout them anymore. Only thing they'll be hunting these days is clouds and angels."

"So you killed them?" He then cracked his neck. "Thanks for the help then."

"I defend people, animals, anything that's being hunted. that's my policy. Definitely if they tryna steal my reign. shot the suckers from my skies."

He reached into his bag and pulled out some notes. "Zayn...i've noticed an increase in vampire hunters lately...but not just them demon hunters and some angel hunters it's as if they are trying to get rid of all non-human races."

"Well, let's see if your data is correct. I've noticed they are far more active as well, but I deal with anyone intruding the sky, so I don't keep count." He took a look at the papers Ashura was gathering.

He sighed and looked at him. "Anyone who invades the skies? Cause I use them to watch out for Hunters at times."

"The skies are my terrain. Anyone who invades it, and does things that does not fit into my picture, is fried chicken."

He looked at Zayn. "I just use the skies for travel and then to surprise attack hunters while protecting people or my kind."

"Then there should be nothing for you to be afraid of. Not from my side, at least. But do you have any idea as to why these buggers are getting more active?"

He shook his head. "Not yet....but it seems like they are working together. I mean usually vampire hunters don't help Angel hunters and Demon Hunters won't help them either but they are."
