Astraria walked back into the tent to see Yasuo. "Now that everyone is finished...did you want to see me, Yasuo?"

He nodded, leaning back in the chair. "I'm starting to wonder whether I'm made for this. At first I was just leading the resistance against that wretched government. Now we have almost 2 million refugees to feed and care for, a city in ruins, Goldie comes and gives us a new threat up north. And to top it off, this soldier of New Pendragon comes marching in and tells me she's responsible for the ruining of my life. But on orders of Pendragon, so I can't blame her. Or something."

"I see...you are doing well, Yasuo...but does this have anything to do with me?" She sat down across from him, neatly smoothing her robes a bit.

She blushed. "I-I am there for my friends...if you need to speak...I will be there to listen and help." She smiled softly.

"I know, that's why I asked you here." He got up, walking around the tent. "I just don't know how to deal with this."

He looked over to her. "Real observant. Yeah, advice, ideas. Anything."

She thought for a moment. "Well...I say forgive that person...since they were acting under orders...and I am no good at tactics...so I don't know what to say regarding this northern thing."

She blushed, realizing she had spoken with little information. "I-I am sorry...I say forgive...but not forget...would you have my head if it were I who had done this? She must have regrets...to admit to such an atrocity..."

"You couldn't have. It's not like you. Even if someone put a gun to your head, you'd still not do it. But the fact that she did, makes it that she can be held responsible. What's the old saying again, an eye for an eye?"

"I do not approve of violence...Yasuo." She stood up, looking at him. "Please do not harm her for this...I believe that she regrets her actions...and for me that is enough to earn forgiveness..."

"But you're not me. The pilots who bombed us. The soldiers of Pendragon. Those loyal to the prime minister. you forgive them? They all had a choice to not do what they were told, knowing it was wrong. Yet they went through with it. Can you forgive them that?"

"Th-that..." She looked away. "...I do not know. I certainly do not hold a grudge against them..." She sat back down. "...so I certainly do not wish harm on them." Certainly her Angelic values held no sway with Yasuo.

"They killed over a million people, and for what? You think that fits with your values? Just let them go? You don't want them to atone for what they've done?"

"I am an Angel, Yasuo!" She looked at him again, her heart beating faster. She felt flushed, thinking of all the death...and how she could not help anyone. "I live to help the living! The people who died..." She looked away, a sad expression on her face now. "...I cannot bring back, nor help to safety...I felt their deaths as they happened...but I focused on the people coming into the camp. I do not wish death upon people because it does nothing for either side...all it brings is sadness. That..." She stopped, noticing she was shaking. "...I kn-know you understand...right?" She looked at the ground, trying to calm herself down.

He shook his head. "And so your solution is to let them live their lives? Let them go and do whatever they wish? Where's the justice for those who died in that?"

She had no reply. She just sat there, shaking. It conflicted her nature to wish revenge and death to others. She saw his point...but she also did not approve of violence.

"F-forgive me...Yasuo." She had barely convinced herself to go along with the previous attack... "I-I spoke of something I should not have...with no information available." She stood up. "I-I have failed you as a comfort, I assume?"

"I don't need comforting. It's nice, but. I need answers. I need help. This attack, was unexpected. I never thought they would cross the line in bombing their own people. But they did, and we need an answer for this."

"If an attack is what you desire in recourse...please leave me out of it. I-I-I..." She found herself short of breath now, the thought of so much death and her inability to do anything to prevent it. A hand went to her chest as she tried to regain her composure. She could almost sense the souls of the recently deceased, the attack having only happened a day prior.

"I said an answer, not needless and endless violence." She seemed to be tunnel visioning right now, only looking at what had happened and taking that as what will continue to happen.

"M-M-My answer..." She looked at him, her vision a bit blurry. "...is to do...what you think is right..." She slowly brought herself under control. "...s-sorry for getting like this...I must rest." She sat back down, closing her eyes for a moment.
