He held her tight and saw the tear so he whipped it off with his hand. "There's no reason to cry. And I'm glad that you're with me."

"Well, then i guess I'll settle it like a good game of poker. All in and me trying to pull off some magic." He knew it wasn't the best thing to still talking about gambling but it was habit.

He remembered something and pulled a whistle out of his pocket. "I wonder if he could help me out with this..." He was mumbling to himself.

He shook his head. "It's nothing...probably." He wondered if Zane would know where to find one, but for now he put the whistle back in his pocket.

"Well I came there with a friend, I'd just met him but he gave me the whistle and said: 'If you need anything blow on the whistle and I'll come.' He might be able to help us now, I'm not too sure of this, of course, but when has that ever stopped me?" He was a little more excited now.

"Then I'll give it a try." He ran outside the house and took out the whistle. "I hope I'm not just wasting our time." He took a deep breathe and blew on the whistle.

After a couple minutes of waiting, Zayn, as his Dragon form, landed on the roof of the house, silently, so nobody inside would hear him. Shifting to human form, he jumped down. "Been a while. How can I help?"

"Vampires? What's the sudden interest in Vampires? I mean, you wouldn't want to get near those, and yeah, you can split them. I've done it myself several times, I know how to do that. But it would require both human and Vampire to agree."
