Ambers place

"Yes I suppose it must have just been a reaction to that food...yea, that was it." He had to come up with something so she wouldn't worry. He was surprised he lasted as long as he did without blood.

"Well, I know this isn't what you usually have." Having said that, she fell silent. Like she just figured out that she hadn't followed a rabbit, but in fact a poisonous snake.

He could feel his words weren't the best, but he needed to come up with something. "I think I should get something to drink; there's a convenient store down the way a bit yes?" He tried remaining as calm as possible, he tried not to show any signs of blood withdraw.

She felt as if they already went grew apart from each other. As much as she disliked it, she nodded. "Ok, just be careful, and don't do anything ... stupid."

He began to leave the house, he stumbled a bit but kept his balance as best he could. "I'll be back in a little bit." He shut the door behind him and mumbled "I'm sorry." He took off for the convenient store.

She knew if she'd follow him, it would only create more and more problems for him. She sat on Gyanburã's place, and looked out of the window at her car. She didn't know what to do anymore. Her perfect match with the first guy she ever loved, just turned out to be something that wouldn't work, or most likely not good.

He had went to the convenient and made a bet with the clerk and when he lost Gyanburã sucked his blood. After cleaning up he returned. Though hesitant to enter. "She probably hates me now..." He sat on the steps.

Not wanting Cad to know about his secret, she had to cope with it herself. She imagined many possible scenarios in which it would go wrong. But in the end, she always came to one and the same conclusion. Vampire or not, I love him, and that won't change.

"If I go back in there, I could lose my cool and hurt them. I couldn't face myself if that happened." He got up. "But I can't leave either. Maybe things will turn out alright." He went to the door and opened it slowly.

as the door opened, Amber saw Gyanburã's features, and she shot to the door, and flew on his neck with her arms. She hugged him tightly, and with tears in her eyes, and her voice trembling, she have him a kiss on his cheek. "Thank god you're ok."

He wrapped his arms around her, on the verge of tears himself. "I'm sorry. I thought that you'd hate me; I mean, I am a vam-" He stopped himself when he noticed Cad was standing in the background. She was in hearing range so he figured revealing himself as a vampire would cause trouble.

*Cad walked into the living room* "Did you enjoy the meal?"

He gave off a nod. "It was very delicious, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Gave me a little indigestion though. So i went out of the house to get a soda." He didn't know if she noticed him leave or not so he pawned it off.

"Oh. I guess the spirits I used are bad for the human pallet...we angels love them though..." *Cad thought a little*

"...Spirits?" He didn't really understand what she meant.

"You know...the fine wines and all...beverages that contain alcohol. Which was why I told you that the little one was not to have any."

"Oh now i see what you mean." He began to laugh. "I thought you meant actual spirits."

"No...though I do hear that demons use them in their brews...never tried any of them though. I still have some of them left, if you care to have a glass, and we can let Amber have a moment to herself...she looks distraught."

He looked at Amber and she did look like she was deep in thought. "Sure I wouldn't mind a glass." He wondered what Amber was thinking about.

"Right, come into the kitchen and I'll pour you some, you can choose which, though, I brought a couple for the recipe."

He followed her into the kitchen and picked out a random bottle from what she showed him. He wasn't the best at choosing wine but he felt that he couldn't go wrong with how the dinner came out.

"Alright, sit down and I'll pour you a glass." *Cad went and got a couple of glasses she'd brought along with her from the Angel world, and poured a glass of it in front of him, then moving onto her own glass*

He rolled the glass around a bit and took a small taste, it was pretty crisp at first but had a very pleasant after taste. "This is very good, I'm glad you had some left over." He took another sip trying to conserve it so he could enjoy it longer.

"Then have the rest of it as a goodwill gift for you and Amber." *She sets the bottle beside him* "And this is a day to get all our secrets out, so that they will not affect us later on down the road..." *Cad took a large swig out of her glass* "...you know?"

Gyanburā set his glass down on the table and let off a smirk. He looked up and the ceiling and chuckled a bit. "I suppose you're right, but I'm guessing you have a pretty good guess as to what I am." He looked at Cad; he knew it was only a matter of time before he would have to tell her as well.
