"Oh...You sound like you knew some. If you did, were they nice? Were they secret? What were they like?"

"They were really nice, and wise, but the people who were lead by them thought otherwise. Well, I shouldn't be telling you all this actually, so stay quiet about this when Gyan is around, ok?" She walked to the door, and almost yelled down to Gyan, in odrer to be heard. "Everything going ok down there? Need help?"

Katie nodded her head. "Are we gonna go eat breakfast soon?" 'She describes angels the way I think of her...'

Gyanburā was flipping the eggs when he heard her. "I'm almost done; you can set the table if you'd like!" He replied.

"Yes, we're going to eat now, here, come on, let's go down." She helped Katie out of bed, and got her dresssed in some of her own clothes of 25 years ago. "You're lucky I still have those, I can never part from them."

"Thanks." She smiled. "Can I talk to you about something after we eat?"

"Sure you can, sweetie. But let's go eat first, I don't know about you, but I am starving." She walked with Katie down the stairs, and arrived at the table, all set for breakfast, and Gyan still in the kitchen. "Smells good, thanks for doing this."

Katie laughed. "I'm hungry too." She follows Amber down and sat at the table.

GyanburāEturned and smiled. "It's no problem, I enjoy cooking for you two." He said as he set their plates in front of them.

"Well, looks nice. I'm sure it'll taste great as well." She started to eat, while the rest was doing the same, and some times, she secretly looked at Gyan.

Katie poked at the food curiously. "What's this? It looks weird."

"Those are eggs and bacon. Try some they are delicious." He said pointing his fork at the bacon.

She ate a little bit. She ate the rest of it at a normal speed. "This is good."

Amber laughed, and almost choked on a bit of bacon.

"Here take a drink of your coffee before you choke to death." He handed her a cup of coffee.

Still laughing a bit, she took a sip. "Thanks. That almost went wrong."

"It already went wrong when you started choking. You've got bacon on your face." He grabbed the piece off her face and ate it.

"Why would you do that?" She almost started to laugh again, but refrained herself from doing so. "We clearly can't even eat breakfast normally."

"What's the matter with that? I rather enjoy not being normal." He laughed; he grabbed his plate and cleaned it in the sink.

Katie was curious. "This isn't normal?"

"No, it isn't, not to the least. But yeah, sometimes you just need to be a bit crazy." She got Katies plate and her own, and joined Gyan at the sink. "I'm skipping work today, so I can find you two a place to stay, I can't keep both of you in here with myself." She spoke on a low tone, so Katie wouldn't hear it.

"But why not? Well, I mean, I can pay for the extra furniture and expenses for both Katie and myself." He said, his voice was also muffled for Katie's sake.

Katie heard, but not clearly enough to know what was being said exactly, just blurred out few words. "I wonder what they're talking about."

"You actually want to live here? I've known you for still less then a day, and that kid needs help. You have your gambling, and you want to live together with me? In this small a house? Where's the logic in that?" Even though she really did like the idea, she had to keep thinking realistic.

He nodded. "I know it's really soon, and I mean really soon to consider it and you have a right to reject it but think about it. This girl has been living alone since she was 3, she doesn't have any parents. If no one else at least keep her, I'll still give you the money for her expenses." He realized he wasn't exactly being practical, it was, in fact, a small house. "What if I bought the house? We could live anywhere you choose. And who cares about logic? What does it do?" He asked, but knew he was rushing things quiet a bit between the three of them.
