Ambers place

"You know something?" *Cad was starting to get a slight buzz from downing the glass so fast* "I've been 'looking' for the last..." *She grabs the bottle and drinks a swig from it* "...600 years...ever since I became like...this." *Cad gestures at her body*

Amber took the bottle, and put the cork back on it. "You're getting drunk again. Try to keep yourself in check. If you know you don't have such a high tolerance for this, don't drink it." She assumed she was meaning that she had grown to a full woman.

"...ya don' get it...I'd 'ave fallen fer...ya...'ad I not been...a female...angel...fer...yer...so, so, so...innocent...an'..." *Cad falls out of her chair, face down, out like a light.*

"Yeah, you fell for me, all right." She picked up Cad under her arms, and with a whole lot of effort, she dragged her up the stairs, not all too gently. After having achieved getting upstairs, she put Cad on her bed again, like last night, she took off most of Cads clothes, but not the ones that were covering her more intimate spots, and she put the bedsheets over her. "Just like last night." She let her rest there, sure that she'd be all right, and went down again, to check up on Gyanburã.

Gyanburã rustling around on the couch began mumbling: "No...what's going on?..." His eyes were still closed.

Amber tried to wake him up from his sleep. "Hey ... Gyan ... "

He was dreaming about what happened and his eyes squinted. "No...why does this have to happen?..." He jolted up and his eyes followed. "Why am I..."

She helped herself to a pillow, and slammed the pillow right in his face. "Wake up already!"

He grabbed for the pillow and tried to take it off.

"You awake now?" She grabbed her pillow back, and sat on the couch, with her arms wrapped around the pillow.

Gyabura looked at her but didn't feel happy like he felt he should have been. "I'm sorry..." He could only think to apologize. "Why did you bring me back?"

"Well, you know, I can hate you for what you did, or I can despise you, or leave you, but in the end how does that help either of us? You still will remain vampire and I'll remain alone. So it's better for me to just try to help you, so we can be there for each other, whenever we need someone. And I like you, a lot. Don't forget that."

He put his head in his hands. "I should have known better, how can i forgive myself for that? I lost myself; that was me, or, rather, what i was. But it's still a part of me and will remain that way. I'm putting everyone I know at risk." He was crying because he knew it would put her at risk.

"Hey, there is a risk, yes, and I saw what your dark side was like. But you don't think I'm all sweets and pie, do you? We'll figure it out, that's why we love each other." She put the pillow aside, and swung her arms around him, hugging him, putting her cheek on his.

He hugged her back and squeezed tightly. "I never wanted you to see that, and I will try my best that you will never have to."

"It's you, or at least a part of you. And as scary or dangerous it might be, I accept it. Otherwise I couldn't say that I loved you."

"I love you too Amber, but I've got to know. Who was that guy that knocked me out?" He was curious on why he didn't just keep his word and just kill him.

"I honestly have no idea, but what he might have been, it wasn't anything I've ever seen before. It had some human features, like arms, a body, and a head, a major jaw, hair, eyes, but that's all recognizable. I have no idea what it was."

"How's your wound did it heal?" He didn't feel like he was more worried about how she was then he was about the gash Cad had given him on the shin.

"Cad healed it for me, and go figure, she's sleeping off her legendary hangover. She told me, she does like you, but she won't go for you like that." Her face had a bit of a grim look, but she tried to be honestly glad that he was still alive and ok.

He knew things were probably not going to go back the way they were before especially since Cad knew what he was too, but he was kind of relieved at the same time. He Amber didn't seemed like she hated him. "I think it would probably be best if nobody else know who i am. They might do things to me or even to you or Katie, maybe even Cad." However, he doubted it would be much of a problem for Cad.

"About Katie ... She ran off from the family I sent her for a day, while we would go shopping. It was just for her to stay, on a visit, but she ran away, and I dont know where she is anymore." Amber felt like she had abandoned their own daughter, instead of an orphan child.

He was shocked that she ran away, but then felt that it would be something natural. "We'll see her again, she's going to be fine. She's been on her own for a while, and she knows she has a family now. She'll be back soon, i can guarantee it." He didn't know for certain but he was hopeful he would see her again as if she were his actual daughter.

"Yes, I hope she'll be all right. Still, a child shouldn't be alone out there in the cold like that."

"I know and, to be honest, I view her as if she were my daughter. But I'm certain she'll come back when she's ready. So there's no use worrying about it right now."
