He was curious if that since other races could create a portal if he could too.

Forgetting her envy, she got fascinated, and wanted to know more. "So, what else can we do, and what of those things can you do?"

"We can cast magics, heal people, and fly, of course. We can also hide our wings to humans, so we can have them out and not have them seen."

"But if they walk against them, will they feel it, or see then as well, or will they go straight through them?"

"Nope, completely invisible to humans. Other races will be able to see them normally, though, if they're trained well enough."

"Ok, but if we have them extended, and a human would walk against our wings, then what would happen?"

He began to imagine seeing some random person walking along not seeing anything and getting close lined by invisible wings. He covered his mouth before they could hear him laugh.

"What I meant by 'out' was, not retracted behind your coat, like you've done for the past two years. And like I said, completely invisible, for ALL human senses. Sight, hear, touch, smell, OR taste, whoever would want to do that, is completely weird. Now, shall we go?"

"I'm good, I have all I need. Gyan, you have everything?"

He looked around and checked his pockets. "Yeah, I'm ready."

"Alright. Let's go shopping then!" *Cad was excited to go shopping, she'd found someone to 'love', ever since she became a woman, more than 600 years ago. It was an awkward love, but it was a start.*

Cads portal opened, and carrying Gyanburã, Cad walked through it, with Amber on her heels. "So, what are we going to do now? Because that went out of hand, Gyan went crazy, and that dark thing, what was he?"

"He may have been a vengeful spirit...or some other creature...and as for what we do next, I have naught a clue." *Cad set Gyanbura on the couch*

"Well, that leaves us with nothing. wait, you said you heard a voice, back in the alley. What did it say?"

"...'Ask for C.C....in Pendragon...some facility'?" *Cad thought she'd imagined it, so she just forgot most of it.*

She looked up. "Pendragon is a city, well, roughly said the city of the Human World. There are a lot of facilities there, some factories, some governmental institutions, security agencies. Maybe we should go there someday and look into that."

"I guess..." *Cad looks at Gyanbura* "...and I really am sorry for trying to take him from you. He's been the first person I fell in love with since..." *Cad trailed off, not sure if she should tell Amber her secret.*

"Since you came here to the Human World? Well, I understand, he is a great person, for a major problem, then. But he tries, and that's so very charming about him. But, I can forgive you." She hugged Cad, with her small wings parallel to her arms, folding her wings into the inside of Cads wings.

"Yes...that's it. Thank you." *Cad closes her eyes, 'If I were still a male angel...I'd have fallen for her many a time over by now...she's so innocent. She shouldn't have to know of my past. I'll find someone else...and maybe restart my clan.'*

"Well, it's a new world, so it has new opportunities. Try to take them."

"True..." *Cad turned around, and walked into the kitchen, grabbing a second bottle of the wine she shared with Gyanbura, and popped the cork, which was loud enough for Amber to hear in the living room. 'No way to escape that fact...she deserves him...not me, not my female self...' She pours a glass of it, and a second for a non-existent person.*

Amber heard it, and figured she didn't want to repeat last night. She walked over to the kitchen, and took Cads glass. "Oh no you won't. You're my Guardian, you're supposed to give me the proper example. Do they teach you anything about how to handle situations in the Angel World?"

"They do...but right now, I'm not in the Angel World...I'm an angel in the human world down on her luck." *She takes the second glass and downs it*

"Luck is viable. It comes, it goes, it hits the right people, or the wrong ones, we don't know which. The point is not to rely on luck, but embrace it whenever it kicks in. Just look around for that love, you'll find someone worthy for you."
