Ambers place

"You're human, right? I'm not like other angels, who can sense someone's race. You appear human to me, so, that's my guess..."

"I see, well I guess my previous statement would've sounded pretty strange then. The truth is I'm a former gambler." He knew that he should probably wait to tell her about him being a vampire for now.

"I see...you're changing habits then?"

He picked up his glass and got back to drinking. "Yes; I have a to. I've got to do it for Amber's and Katie's sake. It's too dangerous and could leave me severely hurt or even dead."

"That's good. A man who knows his priorities..."

"Though it's been something I was born into doing. You could almost call it the family business." He finished off his glass.

"But it's good you're changing. It's always good."

"And i suppose it's all for the better anyway, maybe it'll give others a shot to win some gold now a days." He let out a laugh.

*Cad laughed as she downed the rest of her glass, somewhat drunk* "And speaking of men...I'm a former male angel myself, as hard as that is to believe..."

He nearly busted out laughing but covered his mouth to muffle the sound. "You were a man?" That was hard to believe, even for what he's been through. "I apologize, I don't mean to offend, but are you serious?"

"Long story..." *She hiccuped, drunk* "...but yes, I am...have been for the last 600 years or so..."

He brewed a few cups of coffee and handed Cad one. "So what made you want to become a female angel? If you don't mind me asking of course."

"Like I said...long story. I...kind of...'hic'...had this reputation..." *Cad hiccups, and sets aside the coffee, pouring herself another glass*

He took the bottle and stopped her from pouring out any more. "Maybe you shouldn't drink any more; you seem drunk already. But, as you were saying, what kind of reputation?"

"It was the...kind...of rep you don't want hanging over ya...so I figured a...change...was in order...and the rest...is history..." *Cad downed what little she had poured, hiccuping all the while while she was talking*

"Ah i see, but that seems sort of like a drastic change. You should dink some of the coffee; it'll sober you up a bit."

"It did at the time, but now that I think about it...it was the only option...that...would rid me of my reputation...and this was the time my wings...started to turn black...ya see...they were as white as pure snow...beautiful sight...they were...hey Amber! Ya listening?" *Cad was drunk off her rocker, now just rambling, just talking.*

Amber walked in from the living room. "Cad, what in heavens name have you done?" She saw the bottles, figured out, and took them away with a rather angry look. And she should watch over me, yeah right, as if.

"...was just showing yer hubby here something the human world doesn't 'ave. Fine...wine." *Cad hiccupped, then fell onto her back, wings spread, drunk* "Nuttin' wrong...with that...is there?"

"Well, no, not with the wine. But there is with the amount you had, to get yourself drunk. Gyan, could you get these out of her range?" She handed him the bottles, and dragged Cad upstairs to her room, where she put her on her bed. "Why don't you rest out a bit, hm?"

"I'm...fine...just...let me be..." *Cad rolled over, and flapped her wings a bit* "...yer hubby is nice...shame too...I like his...type...very kind...an' angel like..." *Cad was just rambling on, drunk*

"Hey, sshhhh, just stay quiet, ok? Just take some rest, it'll be all right." She put Cads wings together, having a hard time, since she was far stronger then Amber.

"I'm hunky-dory..." *Cad gets up, pulls Amber by her collar towards her, and kisses her on the lips* "...so don' worry 'bout me...sweetheart...I'm fine...jus' like yer...hubby." *Cad falls back on the bed, out like a light, snoring*

Not having a clue what just happened, and a bit shocked about the kiss, she was standing there, looking at her so-called Guardian, drunk beyond normal standards. She then slowly walked out, and silently closed the door, to then go outside the backdoor, and sat down in the park, which had a children's playing ground.

A portal opened up in the air and Tetsuno fell out crashing onto the ground face first. "Ugh...damn it why do these things keep happening?!" He was laying on his demonic wing at the moment so it was hidden but his angelic wing was completely visible.
