Reunion

*It was yet another day, Aaron waited it a planned meeting spot for Madison. He had come early and grown bored, so in an attempt to clear it he got up and walked away from the meeting area far enough to not accidently shoot Madison when and if she came. Aaron looked for a suitable target. Once it was found he drew his revolvers aimed and fired, repeating the process.*

Madison hopped from tree to tree, finding her way to the meeting spot. She arrived, sitting in a tree, making sure she was visible from the clearing. "Where is he...?"

*Aaron was somewhat to the right of Madison, shooting at some trees. After a few successful shots he turned and walked over towards the meeting spot. If Madison wasn't there he would continue his training.* "Are you here yet?" *He called out.*

"Oh, there you are, brother." She looked in his direction when she heard the shots go off.

"Yeah, Im here." *Aaron said once he got closer towards the spot. A thought came to him.* "Did they teach you how to use a gun of any sorts in the facility?"

She shook her head. "No. All they did was experiment on us."

"Well then.. I think today I'll teach you. Its good to be prepared." *He lifting up a revolver, making sure it couldn't fire and prepared to toss it to Madison.*

Madison nodded, dropping down from the branch next to her brother. "Okay."

*He tossed the gun to her, waiting for her to catch it.* "I'll say this now, don't hold it close to your face unless you want an eye like mine." *THat wasn't how his eye became blind, but it was good advice for wielding a gun anyway.*

She fumbled with it as she caught it, nearly dropping the weapon. "I-I see..." She looked at the gun, then at him.

*He explained the basics of aiming and firering the gun, though he hadn't been much of a teacher so the instructions were confusing.* "See that tree?" *He was looking in the direction of a tree fairly close.* "Try shooting it."

She nodded, the gun a bit unsteady in her hand. She pointed it at the tree, but nothing happened. "D-does it have something to use?"

"You pull the trigger, that lever by your hand." *He held out the gun towards the tree to demonstrate.* "You pull it back slowly so that you don't fidget and miss the shot." *He did so, hitting the tree with a satisfying crack.*

She nodded, taking the gun back. She pointed it at the tree, and did as he said. The gun was too loose in her grip though, because the recoil caused the gun to fly out of her hands after the shot fired.

*Aaron knew it was too late to catch the near fallen gun, so he walked over to check on Madison.* "You alright? Recoil can .. hurt." *He thought about how it could've gone out of her hand.* "Too strong perhaps?." *He went to go pick it up.*

She nodded. "I'm alright." She watched him retrieve the firearm. She thought for a moment, reflecting on this event. Perhaps her powers activated for a brief instant?

*He picked it up, checking over it quickly and walking back to Madison. Aaron handed her the other gun, standing to her right to watch her and check over the revolver.* "No harm in being prepared." *He muttered.* "Hold it tighter this time."

She aimed again, the gun going off as she pressed the trigger. A burst of wind came out along with the bullet, blowing harmlessly as it reached the tree.

*A small breeze came by, Aaron took no notice of it.* "Nice shot. What part of the tree did you aim at?" *It would be slightly difficult to continue with his usual gruff manner when his sister was the one he was talking to.*

"I'm not sure, you told me to point it at the tree..." She looked at the gun, the recoil still felt in her fingers.

*Aaron walked over to Madison, switched the gun of safety and walked toward the tree after saying something* "Stay there." *He took out his dagger once infront of the tree and made a rough circle, scraping the bark inside of it off. He then walked back.* "Try hitting that circle." *Aaron set Madisons gun (Really his gun) to fire.*

"Sure." She looked at the circle, pointing the gun at the tree again. Another burst of wind came out as she fired, hitting the circle dead center.

*The breeze came again, with the same result.* "Good shot. Are you sure they didn't teach you how to shoot?" *In truth the shot had surprised him.* "With shots like that, You don't really need training."

"I-I'm being honest...they didn't train me. Our brother...maybe, but not me. I think I just got lucky..." She blushed, his praise making her embarrassed.

"Hmm.." *He set Madisons gun to safety again and walked to another tree, making a smaller circle with the dagger and repeating this on a few trees. He walked back and, thinking about it, taught Madison how to change the firing modes of the gun.* "Try hitting those targets one by one as fast as you can."
