Reunion

Nadia had brought Fiora to an abandoned warehouse, near the city center, so that she could at least be on time for the speech Yasuo would hold. Fiora stood in the empty hangar, rapier in her hands, observing the weapon. It was. Familiar. Yet not what she knew. Though what was? Everything was off, things seemed unreal, some things she vaguely remembered, but other things she didn't recognize, and the voice in her head.

Reinhardt walked into the warehouse having been informed by the ALF about his sister. He looked around a bit until he noticed Fiora and walked over to her. "Fiora, will you respond to me?"

She turned around. The face was somewhat familiar. He'd been there, in the labs in New Pendragon. There was something else about him, but she couldn't put the finger on what it was.

He stood there. "Fiora..." He then walked up and hugged her.

She kept looking at him, not replying as he hugged her, but not resisting either.

He stepped back and sighed. "I see....you're still under their control aren't you? Well I promise I'll find a way to save you baby sister." He then looked down. "Even if it kills me."

She placed a hand on his cheek, rubbing with her thumb a little bit, the cold metal of the armor pressing against his skin. She knew him. Somehow.

Reinhardt looked at her and smiled. "I have some news for you Fiora, I had father arrested for when he poisoned you." He sighed again. "Mother is fine though, issues with money but fine."

Fiora stepped back, a hand going to her forehead. For a moment, she saw flashes of her past. With surprising strength, like she normally would never possess, she dug the rapier into the ground, leaving a singed mark around the weapon as it was planted, the blade as a pillar to separate him from her.

Looking worried he looked to her. "Are you alright Fiora?"

The pink in her armor, even the blade, started to flicker, as Fiora cried out in pain. For several seconds, even the lights in the hangar, along with her entire body, were responding erratically to her, flickering, her armor trying to maintain control, but unable to do so anymore with the stress the host had been put through and the often switching from on to off and back again. Eventually, she grabbed the handle of the rapier and pushed it further into the ground, leaving the solid cement fractured and shattered as she collapsed, finally free from the control over her mind.

He quickly kneeled next to her. "Fiora..." He checked to see if she was still breathing before sitting next to her. "I'm worried about you."

She gave him a weak slap in his face. "... Worried ... Please ..."

Hearing her talk again and getting slapped he blinked before hugging her tightly.

He backed up a bit. "Sorry. I...just have been looking for you for a long time and I'm glad you seem back to normal now."

"You're drunk ... I'm nowhere near normal ... " She sat up straight, for as best she could. Unlike Yasuo's, this armor continued to function at command of its owner. The only difference was, Yasuo's armor was under their control, while in her case, her mind was controlled, so there was no point in controlling the armor.

"I'm sure ... " She looked at herself. The vision she had through the reinforced glass gave all sorts of data. She'd have to learn how to handle this and deal with it. As if learning how to walk all over again. "You're still drunk."

"Maybe a bit." He stuck his tongue out at her teasingly.

It took them a while to get at the hangar doors, and the rapier had been pulled out, belonging to her. A man with white hair and a considerable bag walked up to the pair. "Yasuo's speech is over, a tribute to the fallen. I also know he's the one that attacked Arakai before. He's agreed to make amends for that wrong. But within all that, he also wanted me to let you know, Fiora, that he's available if you want to get to terms with. This." He gestured to her, meaning what she now was. With that, he left the pair and made his way to Arakai.

Fiora leaned against the entrance, looking down on the rapier. "You know. I think we should join them. Fight this corrupt government that made me to this. And there's someone else around, near the power central. Lucian. He's ... like me, free, but was one of us. If you get the chance. Find him."

"I'm already ahead of you on the joining them sis." He walked over to her. "I'll see if I can get a group together to find Lucian however."

She nodded, looking passed him up to the sun. It was different, and she knew she'd never see it as she used to again, but still. At least she got to see it in her own mind.

He stood next to her and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Why don't we go home for now at least?"

She nodded. They hed a lot to talk about. And she had to figure out how she was gonna live with this. But all questions and problems best solved elsewhere.
