Tsunnau's Room

He walked over to her and handed the picture to her. "Tsunnau look at this."

"What is it? A photo? What about it?"

"Look at the people in the picture though."

"That's the lady I saw in the crypt, laying on a burial stone next to the one I woke up on...she still had the same presence as she has in this photo..." *She was still blushing noticeably, but her attention was trained on the photo now* "...and this must be her daughter...she looks just like her..."

"Right but look at the other person in the photo. The one with wings."

"Who is that? It can't be me...I was sleeping in the crypt when this was taken...wasn't I?"

"I don't know but it could help to recovering your memory." He then sat down next to her and looked at her noticing her blushing and he moved away a bit.

"...the picture is dated 1880...that was over 650 years ago...wasn't it?" *Tsunnau had looked on the back of the picture, seeing only two legible names, the lady's name and the name of her daughter 'Tsun', a third was scribbled out in anger, made unreadable by a smear of ink*

He looked at her and then placed his hand on hers "Want to go look for this Tsun?"

*When he placed his hand on hers, she blushed noticeably, withdrawing her hand and dropping the photo* "...we wouldn't know where to look for her...or if she's even still alive by this time...the photo is over 600 years old..."

"Hmm.." He looked at her and blinked. "Sorry if I startled you. Anyway if this is in demon world she must be a demon or at least part demon but I could be wrong. But demons tend to live a long time."

"...but they are also a bloodthirsty people...she could have died in battle..."

"Still won't hurt to try. Better to try and fail then to not try at all." He looked at her. "We could ask around."

"You go on ahead...I'd like to stay here and think about something...a lot of things, actually..." *Tsunnau was still blushing, she walked off back to the room, flustered*

He blinked and then closed his eyes concentrating on opening a portal to the human world after a few minutes he fell through a portal and it collapsed behind him.

*Back in the room, Tsunnau was pondering her recent 'feelings'...was she truly an emotionless being? Or was she somehow different from those 'heartless' Obians? Did she have 'feelings' for the winged boy? And did he have 'feelings' for her? 'Oh Ray...where are you? I need your guidance more than ever now...I hope you can hear my thoughts...wherever you may be...'*

"You requested help." The room turned somewhat darker, and shadows gathered in front of Tsunnau, to then form Dark Ray's body.

*'I don't know what's going on...my face is turning a shade of red...I'm not sure what's going on...do I have emotions? Or am I just a 'heartless' Obian?' She was still a bit red, and still a bit flustered from earlier*

"We are first of our kind, you could say we have our flaws. The usual Obian has no emotion, though you and I are not usual. It is fairly possible you are developing emotion."

*'Then this is what I am feeling? Emotion? Have I 'developed' feelings for that winged boy? When he is near...I...get like this...when he held my hand...I 'felt' weird...not like myself...'*

Dark Ray floated past her, towards the window. He looked outside, into the black void of night. "Yes, that would be emotion. Love, or affection, if you will, is the one you describe."

*'...but what should I do? How was I made for this to happen? If it is a flaw of my birth as an Obian...how would I fix it?'*

"You are made the way you are, you shouldn't attempt to 'fix' what has been given as a gift. The fact these day Obians cannot feel, or cannot experience emotion is a loss for them, if you have the chance to receive them, take it." Dark Ray, knowing he would remain alone in the darkness for all eternity, until his death, had accepted that fact, but wouldn't allow others to have the same fate, if they could have a better one.

*'So...it's 'normal' for me to have emotions? For me to 'love' and 'care'? I don't know how to react to this...I thought I was supposed to be an emotionless being...like you...I wanted to believe badly that I'd be like you...to have so I wouldn't be 'alone'...but now that you tell me this...I don't know how to respond...'*

"[i]You learn. It takes time, but you learn." Dark Ray was still looking outside, while rain had started to begin ticking against the window, and a thunderstorm had been forecasted to pass over the city.
