Out for supplies.

Tsun wandered the streets. It had been nary a hundred years since she left home, and the human world had changed much in the time she'd spent among humans.

Today she was out for supplies, since she was now running a shop in town. She specialized in technology, being a thunder demon and all...not that she had much business. She mainly tinkered around with stuff, messing with humans whenever she needed money.

Quex was sitting on a bench tinkering with an old electric guitar. He was annoyed it seemed like it wasn't producing the sound he wanted.

Tsun hit up a few stores, using her powers where she had to. She walked around carrying various old parts and some new stuff too.

Quex started to loudly swear at the guitar as he started to unstring it and get ready to take it a part.

Tsun stopped by the park as she'd done so many times before, noticing a guy frustrated with an old instrument.

Quex sighed and pulled out a tool and started to take it a part. He started to hum to himself to try and calm himself down as he worked.

Tsun looked in her bags, talking to herself. She pulled out a small kit with various fine tools in it, bringing it over to the man. "Here. This might help you, though I don't dabble in musical instruments."

Quex looked up at her, "thank you." He reached for the tools, "this thing is really old. Maybe the last one still in good condition."

"Probably. I don't dabble with such things. Machinery and electronics are my specialties. I run a shop in town, though not much business passes by me. Must be my location. Humans are such poor creatures."

Quex looked at her, "well shouldn't you be nicer to possible customers? I mean what if you saying humans are poor would made me not wanna buy stuff from your shop." He kept working slowly on his guitar.

"Sorry. You must have misinterpreted what I meant. They have wealth, of the currency variety, but they lack much, being such a young race."

Quex stopped working on his guitar, "so what gave away I am not human?" He thought maybe she discovered he is not human.

"Oh, you were not human? I guess I did not notice...but now that you mention it..." She sniffed the air. "...you do have the faint aroma of a demon."

"The name is Quex, would give you my other name if it mattered any in this world." He went back to working.

"Tsun. My surname matters not to me either, though it would draw considerable wight in the demon world."

He found the problem and started to fix it, "mine use to draw attention and do stuff but after the war my family was forgotten. Even though we have been around longer than most other familys." He laughed a little bit.

"I cared not for the trifles of that world...so I ran from home and established myself here." She walked back over to her things, getting ready to leave.

Quex looked at her, "if you smiled more you will get more people in the shop. Do not forget your tools."

"Keep them. I have plenty of tools." Smiling was something she did long ago. Her heart had long since ceased for that emotion. She was herself, her days of youth, at least in human years, were long gone.

Quex sighed, "well if gou are not too busy you should hang around and listen to me play or I can teach you how to fix a guitar." He was already restringing his guitar.

"Why would I do that? I have been in the human world nearly one hundred years, and have not yet developed a taste for their 'music', if that is what they call it."

Quex nodded, "because you have nothing better to do. You do not seem to be in a hurry to go anywhere." He kept working on the strings.

"I may not be in any hurry, but my shop does need tending to. Crime in the area has been increasing, the human brutes..."

"Oh well I guess it was nice talking to you Tsun. If you have free time sometime in the future you should listen to me play."

"We'll see. If I have learned anything over the past hundred years, it is that you never know what tomorrow will be." She picked up her things, making her way home.
