Fuji Labs

*BANG*
A sound echoed so loud that it could be heard from lightyears away at the instant it happened. Accompanied by a flash of light so bright that it outshined even the sun and other stars in the sky. In an instant a structure reappeared in the universe from out of nowhere.

The building...was Fuji Labs, which had disappeared over 500 years earlier.

The building, which had been on Earth before, was now on Mars, due to a movement in the planets' positions in space. The section of Mars it appeared on was terraformed: a small city that went out some distance, that looked like it had once been a military base. There was farmland even beyond that. However, there were no human inhabitants, the city was populated by small, cute creatures.

Fuji stepped out of the lab and looked around. "Well Lanette, we're not home, but we're back to out universe. Sorry, but at this point I shall erase all your memories of what happened in there."
*With the click of a button, all of Lanette's memories from since they left Earth were discarded, due to her memories being backed up through a hard-drive in her cyborg-chimera body.*
"Now, once you recover, i'll let you know what to do."

Lannette stood there and then blink, "are we leaving the universe yet?" Her memories were up to the point of leaving Igrus.

"We're back already, your memory was compromised due to lag from the space-fold." (this was a lie, but he knew she trusted him enough to believe it.)
"I just checked the computer system, it appears we've arrived on Mars. As well we are 500 years later in the timestream."

"500 years... he must have changed a lot. Well what is my new mission?" She would have to worry about personal stuff later.

Lanette nodded, "ok." She went and got "her"

A girl was sleeping in the back of the room. Her hair was strange colors and she had a bracelet on her arm labeled: "M". Her clothes were also strange, they were mismatched and pieces didn't seem to go together. giving her a very mismatched look.
Lanette noticed that bits of the clothing were parts of her old clothes, but that didn't matter. She had no memory of this girl other than her being "M". Did they become friends? like sisters? Or maybe the girl had been sleeping this whole time? Lanette didn't know, and figured Fuji would not tell her.

Lanette lraned down amd shook the girl, "get up fuji needs us to do some sight seeing."

The girl awoke with a start. "*Yawn, good morning Onee-chan! Okay, let's do what papa says to do." The girl stood up from the bed and stretched. "So, where are we now?"

"mars 500 years since we left earth. My memory is currupted, so sorry if I don't recall amything." She started to walk to outside already. Might as well get this over with.

'M' followed her. "Really? you don't even remember my name? Mortem Ulcisci Insidiarum. See, easy to remember. Well, let's have fun on Mars, I've never been here before. Really I guess I haven't been anywhere before. You could tell me more about that boy too."

She looked at m, "I will tell you more later." She didn't wanna recall Igrus she was sad that it had been 500 years. Even he couldn.t put his life on hold for 500 years. As she walked around she investigated the aera, some of it did not look natural.

"This place is funny, huh? The towns people are all so cute! They don't seem to mind us much though. That over there looks like a port for star ships. Do you think space travel advanced since 500 years ago? Your tech is probably really out of date too. Maybe you'll get upgrades when we return to Earth?" She was just full of questions, an obvious reaction to being brought into the world so suddenly.

Lanette blushed, "I don't know of I want to be upgraded and you just called me old. Space travel don't seem too far out there we just cameback from being outside the universe."

"yeah, I guess we did something better than space travel. That I exist is better than that."

"I guess." She kept looking around not sure what she was looking for.

Fuji caught up with them. "There you girls are. No listen, I was able to get enough energy to restart the Dimension Saw. You two use it to return to Earth, I still have some business here."


"Oh...ok then." Lanette used the saw and opened a rift, transporting her and M to Earth."
