Fuji Labs

7 floors beneath a regular looking house in Arakai was hidden the secret lab of Dr. Fuji. Of course, those who had been given the code could enter it and unlock teh elevator leading straight to a lobby outside the lab.


Dr. Fuji was busy to work on his latest Project, and Lanette was busy working on cleaning up the lab.

Igrus ringed a bell on the normal house door, Lanette had told him where she lived.

"Oh, please excuse me doctor..." Lanette went upstairs in order to answer teh door. She opened the door. "Oh, Hello Igrus, what brings you here today?"

"Wanted to check up on you and you always claimed you have chimeras to test on me." Igrus flashed a warm smile.

"Oh, yes, please step inside. I'll take you down to teh lab." She motioned for him to come inside.

Igrus walked in and grabbed her arm, "lead the way."

She led him to a library. "Well, here we are." She flipped teh table in teh room into teh wall and a hidden stariwell appeared. She led him down the stairs to an elevator and pressed a sequence on the keypad that was too quick for eyes to follow.

Igrus watched in amazement, "could only make out a few of what you pressed. That is amazing."

"That's just how fast I had to be able to type. Plus with typing that fast, Fuji is a little more apprehensive of cybernetics in my hands." The elevator started to move downward.

Igrus put his hand on her shoulder, "your energy is fine and everything?"

"Yeah, also check this out!" Lanette pulled her hair back and took off her hat she was wearing to reveal that she now sported rabbit-like ears. "I just got these since we last met. They have improved hearing, plus they are adorable!"

Igrus petted one of her ears and gentely squeezed it, "they are cute."

She giggled when he petted them. "Hehe, thanks." The elevator arrived at its stop, and they stepped out onto another elevator. She pressed the button that said. "Room 493"

"This place is really fancy, kinda makes me feel like mom's work shop is just an empty room compared to this."

"really? half of the complex is stairs and elevators. Just wait until you see the lab itself." The elevator moved and stopped. It opened up and revealed a large room will several tanks of fluids on the wall with what appeared to be chimeras of many different varieties, some even humanoid. As well there was one tank containing what appeared to be a human child that had no genetic abnormalities.

Igrus looked around, "I am use to machines rather then animals lining the walls. This is almost nothing like Mom's worshop."

"Right, DR. Fuji specializes in genetics.
For instance, that over there is a chimera used by mixing a giraffe with a plantain tree. None of us thought it would work, but it did. The fruit is delicious if you were curious.
That one with the horns is a buffalo mixed with a beaver. Tough horns and teeth are a deadly combination.
The human looking one in the back is just a human though. He's a clone of one of Dr. Fuji's usual clients.
The backroom however, I am not even aloud in. It contains some secret project that not even I know the full extent of. None of the usual passwords work either."

Igrus smiled, "if I wanted in I would be. Electronics like me for some reason. So what did you need me to test?"

"Ah yes, I have a new chimera that is made for aerial combat, as well as one made for hand-to-hand combat. I was wondering if you would be willing to battle against it in our training room?"

"I don't mind it has been some time since my last fight." Igrus smiled.

"Good, now let's step into the training hall."
She opened a door on teh right side of teh room and flipped a few switches inside. What appeared to be a large stadium was inside of teh room, with bleachers and a jumbo-tron included.
"Welcome, to the Underground Stadium!"

Igrus laughed, "after this I plan to plant a kiss on your lips. Just because I can." He walk to what seemed like the center. "Not too bad of a place, I like it a stage like this is fun."

Lanette walked down to teh far end. "Are you ready?" She took off her jacket. The temperature on teh far end was rather low. "Let's do this!"
She blew a whistle and a large creature flew around the stadium. It had A serpentine, scaly body with wings, and its head resembled that of a rooster. It was roughly 7 times the size of Igrus and its claws could easily wrap around him.

Igrus closed his eyes and let a low current flow around him. He was waiting for the attack and prepared to counter with demon energy or magic.

The beast merely landed beside him and licked his face.
"Oh yes, um...I'm not in control of it yet. And it is very docile otherwise..." Lanette swallowed a strange stone and a cold mana began to build around her and encase her in ice. "You have a moment until this kicks in. and don't worry i've greatly improved from before."
