Dried tears

"She'll be fine, just needs a bit of rest." C.C. came walking up to them, in her white robe, and Cheese-kun under her arm. She had repaired done damage to it, so it had a few stitches here and there. It was the only thing she;d never use any of her powers on. She handed it to Teri. "Here, you can have it. It was mine, back when I was a kid."

She took Cheese-kun and hugged it tightly. "Thank you." She then smiled and held it close. "Mommy look." She held up Cheese-Kun for Tsun to see it.

"I see it. It's a special toy that she's had for a long, long time...please take good care of it."

She held it close. "I will." She then smiled. "Thank you C.C." She then looked to her.

"It's all right. Glad you like it." She glanced at Tsun for a second, then went to the kitchentable, and sat down.

*She followed, setting Teri down in a chair, then plopping down in another.*

She was hugging Cheese-Kun and looked at Tsun and C.C.

C.C. held her fist against her forehead, and her eyes closed, either dozing off, or having a hell of a head ache.

"Are you okay C.C.?" *She leaned over and whispered. 'We didn't do too much, did we?'*

She blinked feeling confused. "Is she Ok Mommy?"

"I'm ... fine, just a bit famished. And, oddly, because of that, not hungry."

"I'll make breakfast then..." *She got up, and walked to the refrigerator.*

She blinked and looked over to C2. She then climbed down from her chair and onto C2's lap while still holding Cheese-Kun. "Do you want to play a game later?"

"If I'll feel somewhat better, I might."

She looked up at her and then turned and hugged her. "I hope you get better C.C."

*Tsun brought back scrambled eggs. A bit charred, but nonetheless recognizable as such.*

"Thanks, Tsun, you're a charm." She took the plate, didn't take any at first, but started eating after a bit, and it took her not long to eat it all away after.

*Tsun sat down, and ate her share, passing a plate of it to Teri as well. This was going to be hard to tell Syprus...*

"Hey, Tsun, I just remembered. I know, it's probably not smart to say, but didn't this happen before? With Jeremiah?"

"Yes...but that was with him...not with...you."

"You're right. Still. I wonder how he is, by the way. Have you heard anything on Jeremiah?"

"Yes...I work with him every now and then with his cybernetics..."

"Wondering if there is still something he has for you ... " She was looking at teri, having forgotten she was still around, this entire time.

"Me too...but I promised him I wouldn't pursue him...it caused me trouble last time..."

"I heard, yeah." She stood up, and went upstairs again, back into the room, to check up on the progress of her drying attempt. They really had played out every card this morning.
