Dried tears

C.C. nearly laughed, looking at Tsun. "Guessing you're right. Too tense."

"Yeah, you forgot how fierce my maternal instincts are...you remember how strict I was with Igrus after what went down with Takumi?" *She pets Teri.* "Yes you may, dear. Would you also bring our guest here something too?"

She nodded and climbed down running to the kitchen before returning with a glass of milk and a glass of water. She then handed the glass of water to C.C. "Here you go."

"Thanks, dear." She felt old. Like she had seen all of it, and was now here to check up on Tsun, who was like her daughter. In her hands, the water turned to lemonade, and she sipped of it.

She blinked seeing the water change to lemonade while she was drinking her milk and she just dropped the glass. "H..How did you do that?" As the glass hit the ground it broke.

The shards of the glass Teri dropped came back together, and reformed the previous glass, and the milk flowed back in. "I told you I had quite some tricks up my sleeve."

She blinked. "how...are you doing this?" She then looked to her glass and picked it up carefully.

"I can do such things, like your mother can produce, and manipulate electricity."

"That's right, sweetie." *On command, she made a large spark form from her hand.* "That's her power. Though her power's origin is more complex than mine..."

"I see...sort of like I can do this?" She then closed her eyes and a giant shadow of a cat rose up behind her.

"Yes."

"Fairly. however, the difference between you two and me, is that I control, or at least am able to control, every power there is. I'm where it all comes together, you could say. Which is why I was able to repair your glass and turn my water into lemonade."

She sent her cat away and then looked at C.C. then she drank from her glass of milk again before climbing onto Tsun's Lap.

*Tsun set her book down, and held onto Teri.*

"Tsun. Would you mind it, if I stayed the night?"

She looked up at Tsun and smiled purring a bit at being held. "Mommy..." She then hugged her tightly before looking to C.C. "You can stay in my room!" She seemed excited and happy now.

"You don't even have to ask. You're a very close friend. My doors are always open to you, both here, and the estate in the Demon world. Takumi's room is available, if you'd like."

"Thanks. I've been gone for quite a while, it's good to be back."

She smiled. "Yay...sleep over." She then looked at C.C. "We'll have so much fun."

"She seems to have taken a liking to you."

"She's one of the few, then, I reckon." She gestured Tsun to come over, for something private.

*She got up, and walked over to her.*

"Hey. Uhm, I'm not sure, but have you seen Feix any time since we all separated?"

"Like I said, he's been around...but I haven't seen him in a few months..."

She sighed a bit. "It's been a hell for me, Tsun. Able to feel them, know where they are, but not able to go there, be with them. they're probably married, both, have children, built up families, all without me. I really wished sometimes, I just never would have gotten involved in this in any way."
