Trip to the Museum

After her shopping trip Namide made it to the museum. She stood at the stairs waiting for Ryuji and started fidgeting hoping nothing will go wrong. She started to notice people looking at her cause of her ears and tail and she sighed. "Stupid humans."

"Hey there! Sorry I'm late." Ryuji ran over to Namide. "How long have I kept you waiting?"

Ryuji hadn't noticed, but Emma, Earnest, and about 14 of his fangirls were following him at a distance. They managed to stay out of sight somehow.

She smiled and looked up at him. "No...not at all." She then started walking up the stairs with him. "Ryuji-san. Thanks for not fearing or hating me for what I am." She blushed and looked at him again. "It makes me feel safer with you actually."

"Race doesn't matter to me." Ryuji followed her. "We're all the same in our hearts, ya know?"
He turned away for a second, blushing slightly. He then caught a glimpse at the group following him. "Ah so that's how it is...Well, what are we waiting around here for, let's get inside."

She nodded and grabbed his hand running up to the entrance and then reached into her purse to pull out the money to pay her entry fee. "So..Ryuji-San what's your favorite exhibit?"

"Well, I wanted to see an exhibit of an magical artifact they recently discovered. No one is sure how to use it. They say it just looks like an average trading card, but has a very high magic content." Ryuji laughed lightly. "And to think, they found it near the apartments, kinda strange." Ryuji turned back to Namide. "Was there anything you wanted to see?"

She blinked a bit and shook her head. "Not sure yet." She then paid her entry and walked in. "Maybe this one sword they found in the labryinth under here 500 years ago...it's split in half now though and they can't repair it."

"Swords eh? Interesting." Ryuji payed his entry fee and walked up beside her. "Each sword carries its own history, that is why I practice swordsmanship. The kendo club is my spreading the joy of the sword with others." Ryuji looked back to Namide, "Sorry if that was a bit too serious for you."

She shook her head a bit and looked at him "It's ok." She then walked ahead a bit and looked at a statue of a demon general. "Hmm"

"That statue is fairly old. Apparently its been here for over 500 years, I'm surprised it's held up."
Ryuji looked around some more. "Oh look, quite a colourful tapestry, don't you think?"

She looked at it and nodded before grabbing his hand and leaning against his arm. All of his fan girls seeing this. "Ryuji-San..." She just trailed off a bit and smiled her face now bright red

"Hey, are you feeling ok? Maybe we should stop and take a rest, you look like you're burning up." Ryuji pointed out a small food court area. "We can sit down over there and get drinks or something."

She looked at the food court and blinked then back to him. "Ryuji-san....do you...not realize what this is?" She blushed again.

Ryuji sighed. "If I know what you think it is, than I do. And whether it is or not shall be up to you. You invited me , so it's up to you to realize what this is, not for me to." Ryuji smiled at her. "Of course, if something else were intended by this, I'll be glad to hear you out."
'That little!' The fangirls were angry at this point. Earnest and Emma barely able to hold them back.

She smiled and jumped up hugging him. "I'm glad." She then took his hand and walked over to the display of a black sword that is snapped in half. "Hmm..Ryuji-san this is what I was talking about."

"This sword...I..can hear something...it's as if it want's me to know... its story, how it broke!"
Ryuji turned looked down. "Oh...someone left the audio-tour on..." *click* Ryuji smiled at Namide. "So, does it mean anything to you?"

She nodded. "My mother used it in anger in her past. But left it here I never heard the story of how it broke though." She looked up at him and sighed. "Ryuji-San can we go to the food court for a bit I want to talk with you."

"Oh sure. we can go there if you want, and I'll even buy you a drink if that's what you want."

She smiled and laid her head against his arm while holding his hand. "Thanks." She then looked down.

"Silly, you will have to let go if you want me to get you something."

She blinked a bit and nodded letting go. "Sorry." She then sat at a table and waited while thinking to herself.

Ryuji left her alone at the table for a moment while he went to get them some drinks.

While alone she looked around and noticed Emma and Earnest with the fangirls that were following Ryuji and she shook her head.

Ryuji returned. "Sorry I took so long, I wasn't sure of what you liked, so i got a few. Here's ExtraThickPeach, Cola, Strawberry, and some coffee-milk. And don;t worry, I can drink whatever you don't want."

She grabbed the coffee-milk and took a sip while sitting next to him and leaning against him. "Ryuji-San....about why I wanted to talk to you." She looked down now. "You know I asked you out cause I wanted to go on a date with you...but I'm worried if we do continue dating you'll only get hurt."
