Guest apartment

Igrus grabbed her shoulder, "sure you don't wanna join me?"

"I am fairly mechanical now, rest is not something I require any longer."

"Not being able to read between the lines is another. I didn't plan to sleep if you decide to join." He headed to the room.

"Another day my friend. another." She walked out the door.

Igrus sighed, "was worth a try. I guess I should take a nap." He went to the room and laid down.

Some time passed and Lanette returned knocking on the door once again.

Igrus walked to the door looking like he just woke up. "Oh you came back." He opened te door and let her in.

"I figured I should, I already paid for services yet to be rendered, did I not?"

"Yeah if you want to think of it that way." Igrus yawned, "what can I do for you today?"

"I want you to test out my new chimeras. They aren't strong but they're neat. I based them from a concept in an old anime series from the late 20th century. Want to see them?"

"Ok I can see them, I think a kiss was a fair trade." He smiled at her.

"okay then." She walked outside and tossed an orb up into the air.There was a burst of light. a creature appeared from within teh light.
"I won't bore you with teh details, but basically the orb converts the chimera from bio-mass into light energy and vice-versa. I only have the one though, this thing was expensive to make."

Igrus' illusion brought him out some coffee, "lets see what it can do." He drank the coffee and handes it back to his illusion.

"Also, here is another piece of tech inspired by the Television of yore."
She jumped down to the ground in front of the apartment. She then pulled out a cellphone-esque device and slid a card through it. With a flash of light the creature grew and changed in form.

Igrus smiled, "I see this is interesting." Igrus closed his eyes and let a current run through and around him.

"Go!" She slid another card and the chimera unleashed a barrage of missiles from its back, as well as a beam attack from its mouth.

Igrus used lightning to keep the attacks from hitting the house and he ran at the chimera eyes still closed. Avoiding and redirecting attacks, "right lets make you useless." He destroyed the weapons on the chimera.

"Is that the best you've got?" She slid another card and large claws appeared on the creature, it went in for some melee attacks.

Igrus smiled and sent out a pulse of lightning. The claws disappeared and Igrus laughed. "I see so I can manipulate the data by using my powers." He backed up.

"Well I guess it's time for this..." She pulled out a card that looked different than the others and was solid blue in colour. She used the card and fused her body with the chimera, creating a new creature.

Igrus smiled, "now it has gotten interesting." Igrus shoots a bolt of lightning into the sky. His illusion disappeared.

She jumped into teh air in teh opposite direction. She fired sever large boomerangs at Igrus.

Igrus avoided the boomerangs and pulled out a toy gun and shot it and stuck a dart between her eyes. "You should be careful with boomerangs." He laughed and sat on the ground.

The dart threw off her concentration and she was hit by the boomerangs. She was separated from the chimera and it returned to the orb in a flash of light.

Igrus walked over and offered her his hand, "was the test worth it? Next time the price might be higher." Igrus smiled at her.
