He looked at his map, "well the old libary should be this way then." He started to head in the direction of the libary.

"It is fine. Walking slow allows one to take in the nature around them." With that, she looked around, seeing the farms again.

"It is no fun when you want to get to places in a hurry." He kept walking, he also looked around.

"This place still looks bad." He sighs he lost a lot of stuff here.

"How long ago was the destruction?" It had been like this when she arrived. She wondered by how long did she miss the magnificence this city would have held.

"Oh, I see. I wish I could have seen the city before it was destroyed." She surveyed the landscape. "Where did you say the library was?"

"Over this way." He started to lead the way.

She followed him, taking note of where everything was. Former houses, businesses, and playgrounds. "A sad sight indeed. Why must humans war among themselves so much?"

"We were made for war is all I could think." He got her to the ruins of the library.

Not much of the building remained. "Libraries are supposed to be sacred places..."

She walked into the ruins, sifting through debris for any signs of surviving books. "I will be back in a moment..."

"Okay," he watched her dig through the ruins.

She sifted through mountains of debris, some being pieces that a normal human would struggle with. She returned a while later with both arms cradled around about a dozen books. "Some were illegible...and still more charred beyond repair...these few were what I could deem salvageable." She set them on a semi-intact bench, examining them further.

He looked at a few of the books, "well bright side you found a few books."

She sorted through each to glean their contents. A couple were children's stories, and a few were novels of fiction. Only one was a book with maps in it, rather large in its size. "What is this one?"

He looked at the book, "ah this is the map of the world. Seems a little old though."

She perked up at the mention. "Oh, good!" She sat down with it, pouring over its pages. "This world is quite big, to have so many pages of maps." She hummed merrily as she looked through the big book.

He looked over her shoulder, "the world is a very big place there is so much to see and so little time to see it all."

"Human lifetimes, yes. We Angels live for much longer though. I could probably see everything in about a hundred years...maybe less." She continued to sift through the book.
