Boredom

*After an odd night, Zeke would walk around, Bored. He soon found himself at the camp, people avoiding him as usual.* "Maybe I can change that.." *He would think about ways to get people to stop ignoring him or quickly walking away from him. Eventually he went up to a tree, having walked there while thinking. It was near the edge of the camp.* "Eh, couldn't hurt to go up." *He would say, beginning to climb it*

Astraria was in front of a crowd, singing for whoever would listen. She was trying to lift their spirits until they could be relocated, and she'd become a fixture in their otherwise tumultuous lives. Her voice was carried on the winds, laden with her magic.

*Zeke would hear someone singing, not too far away.* "Well whoever they are, they seems to be a good singer." *He would jump down from the tree, walking in the direction of the singing, flipping up the hood of the hoodie so that whoever was singing hopefully wouldn't recognize him, letting him listen. All while this happened, he had some clay in his hand, it helped him focus*

Astraria resisted the urge to open her wings, something she would normally do when singing like this. She spotted new faces in the crowd as she sang, smiling that she was making more people happy. 'They deserve this little bit of happiness...'.

*Zeke got to the crowd of people who were listening to the singer, a few people recognized him, moving away, but not enough to make much of a difference* "That music guy Beats would love this." *He would say to himself, as it was an amazing singer and he knew Beats loved music. He was thinking about that, unknowingly pulling back his hood to hear the song better. People saw this and realized who he was, moving away. He was there alone, the crowd that was around him moved to a different area around the singer to listen*

After a while, her notes faded as she finished her song, the crowd clapping and cheering her on. She bowed to the crowd, making her way off of her makeshift stage. "I hope they enjoyed it." She sat on a nearby chair, resting after having sang for a good while.

*Zeke was thankful that nobody really cared to much that people moved away from him, that or they didn't want to make a scene about it. He saw the singer sit down near a tree.* "Well, might as well speak my mind about their singing before they can run away, Or maybe they don't know me.. " *He would go to the tree, climb it while still un noticed. His voice would come from above, where he would be holding onto a branch with his legs somewhat ahead of the chair* "Your an amazing singer."

Astraria looked up, a bit startled. She blushed at the compliment. "Th-thank you...I take it you were in the crowd listening?"

"I was, yes." *He would try being.. not weird so as to not scare this person. He was happy that he wasn't known to he, as most people who know him run away when they see him* "I don't remember seeing you before, I mean I don't know many people, but I think I would remember a good singer like yourself."

She blushed, nodding. "I-I see...thank you for the compliment...I practice often. I have not met you either, though I tend to not introduce myself to those of the camp. My presence speaks for me, though..."

"Well, Im Zeke, Commonly refered to as The weirdo." *He would say this, instantly regretting it. He would think: Im an Idiot! Now shes going to wonder WHY Im known as a weirdo and leave. He wished he could take his words back, simply saying : Im Zeke. *

"I just wanted to say that your a good singer." *He would be confused as to why the women didn't question his harsh nickname The Weirdo. Something is off.. or this person is just really nice? He would think, jumping up from the branch and jumping off of the tree, perhaps at too high of a height though.*

She smiled. "Well, I thank you for the compliments." She watched him. The word of her 'beautiful' voice was getting around it seemed, as she was being asked to perform for various parts of the camp as of late.

*Zeke would be preparing to roll as he landed, and he almost did, but his foot hit the ground as he tried. He continued with the roll, bending his foot forward painfully.* "Nngh.. " *He would groan, he sprained he foot and ankle. When he finished the roll he clenched his leg, in pain. Sadly enough the few people who saw him (Besides the singer) didn't help, knowing him as The weirdo.*

"I do this stuff a lot, I just.." *He would look at his ankle* "Jumped wrong.. Im ok." *He was surprised she was helping him, he usually had to help himself, as nobody wanted to go near him*

"Well, you are now." She stood up, smiling at him. The crowd hadn't dispersed yet, a few of them were asking for an encore. "Well...it seems I have fans wanting to dear me sing again."

*He would look at his ankle, confused as to why it didn't hurt.* "How did you.. Eh, nevermind." *He would let her go and continue singing, but this experience with her wouldn't leave his mind for some time, somehow he was healed almost instantly*

She put a finger to her lips. "I used a miracle to heal you. I am called a miracle worker among the people of the camp, because I give them hope. They were forcibly removed from their homes, so I do my best to quell their fears and worries. Humans can be like children at times, even if they are aged past their prime."

"Hmm.. Ok." *He would still be confused, mentally noting what she said.* "I guess I will let you get back to your singing, thanks for healing me."

"You are most welcome." She bowed to him, making her way back to the stage, beginning another round of singing. She would sing for them, raise their hopes and their spirits until they could be resettled into new homes.
