Beach Sand

Leon took a detour to the beach. The records could wait, relaxation was certainly a welcome change. Upon his arrival though, the annoying cough of a patron rung in his ears. Maybe he should head down the beach a few meters or(deepening on what the guy was coughing about) a few miles. His decision was stopped however when he spotted a girl sunbathing in the area. "Well I do have too many bottles" Leon grunted to himself. he approached the maiden and called out.

"You need any suntan lotion?" Hopefully he didn't come off as a creeper.

Leon took a step back holding his hands up defensively. "Look sorry for disturbing you. I bought too much at a market store." He said gesturing to the bulging bag he held. "I was just asking if you wanted on of the extra bottles." Leon inwardly sighed, he knew this was bad idea, now he was in trouble.

Leon frowned and tilted his head in confusion. If he had a hidden agenda he wouldn't have approached directly. He would have staying hidden... just as he thought, humans were weird. Unless she meant hitting on her. He would admit she was pretty, but she probably wouldn't be interest to know he was a demon.

"I doubt I will be using three bottles of the stuff. I don't have place to store this either, so might as well give it to someone who will use it." He gesture again holding out the bottle.

"I am new in town." Leon laughed. "With my luck I toppled a tower of cans in the market. Thankfully the clerk on duty was friendly and helped me with the clean up. I asked him about some places to relax in town he told me about the beach. He recommended this brand as they had a deal on this type. As a thank you for his business, I bought the three instead of a single bottle." he gave a small shrug in defeat. "Therefore I find myself on the beach handing out free lotion."

"Leon" He smiled holding out his hand for a handshake. He frown however as he glanced her left hand. "Not it's my business, but with that jewelry on you left hand you wont get a even tan. You should probably take it off before you begin."

Leon kept his smiles plastered on his face but inwardly he tried to examine the item closer. His parents had told him stories of the days of old. Of past civilizations. his favorites were the one of the demonic weapons, that fused to the chosen wearer. He shook himself, that would just fairy tales though. It had been thousands of years since they were supposedly used. Though...his parents were thousands of years old. he wondered briefly if anyone would notice his flaring his demonic energy to check the device. Well first he had to answer and stop staring.

"I am sorry to hear that. My parents were not the kindest but they believe we should stay together." He smiled sheepishly. "Actually that's why I am in the city. I am try to track them down using the records."

Now was good as any chance he flared his energy just for an instant. No reaction...Leon felt stupid for even thinking was demonic. Another round of coughs jarred Leon from his thoughts. "You must have quite a lot of patience. That coughing is quite annoying."

"I guess you right." Leon nodded. "Any place you would recommend to read to a book around here? I would here but..." Leon trailed off sending the coughing man another look. "Maybe I should just ask him to leave the beach. he does look kinda ill."

Leon gratefully accepted the seat, relaxing as the sea breeze blew over him. "This is nice, I can see why people come here to relax. Do you come here often?"

Leon only shrugged, not caring for the potential mishap. He instead leaned back, laying on the ground and closed to his eyes. She was right, the ocean has a calming effect. "You seem young... any interesting places around here that you could recommend?"

Unbeatable records in the arcade? Was that even possible? Leon was tempted to follow that line of questioning, but in the end the arcade held no real interest to him. he pull out his notebook and wrote her suggestion done all the same though. It wouldn't hurt to keep it in mind.

Leon laughed in spite of himself. "That does seem pretty unbeatable. Is that were you usually go on your days off?"
