Tough luck

"I'll need an MVS Blade on that arm. Designs I can give you." She got to her repairs on the right hand. The system was rather complicated, but having copied parts from Hadron technology, she made it work the best she could.

"Mvs blade I see give me a minute." Her eyes glowed again, "ok I see how that works." She started to tinker with different parts constructing something.

After 2 hours, she had finished with the right hand. The system, which she had running through the entire arm, was fully operational again, and she was glad that it wasn't damaged beyond repair. She climbed up to the cockpit, where she installed the new hardware for the left arm, which was attached by now.

"I made a state of the art mvs blade, sorry it is of my own design all the plans I found on them looked faulty to me. The repairs on everything else is done. Is there any other repairs or upgrades you want?" Kyra smiled, she was having fun.

"I made a system, one I haven't seen anywhere, and one that worked. It's a float system, I have the schematics in my memory banks. But I don't want them to leak out ... " She looked down, to Kyra.

She got a sparkle in her eye, "can we do somwthing with it. I promise not to reveal it to anyone, I only invent knightmare parts to keep my founding for my free energy core. I like the sound of a float program though."

"Well, all right ... " She typed in some stuff, and then came down with the Knightmare devicer key. She plugged it in on her pc, and showed the blueprints. "It requires an insane mount of resources, though."

"I have parts all over the place, we can use. Will your knightmare be able to power this alone?" She looked at te blue prints she seen a few mistakes that were easy to fix.

"Well, yeah, it has a powerful system, since these upgrades. We call it a Yggdrasil Drive."

"Hmmm I have the parts to do this but I don't know we need to fix a few mistakes here." She pointed out flaws and came up with solutions. "I could use a smart person like you around. We can keep this a secret but I bet you have many more good ideas that can help progress the knightmares."

"Well, I hope I might be able to find work somewhere, but not yet." She walked away, and made some last minute modifications on that right hand.

"Come back later and I can have that float system built. Unless you need it now?" She startes to move parts around to build it.

"Yeah, I do, actually. I need it done as soon as I can. There are actually lives at stake."

She used magic to pull out all the parts they will need, "then I will do this fast." She worked a long time on building it. She lost herself in making it and sometime later she was done. "Now lets get it synchronized."

Gyanburã had been watching from the sidelines the whole time, he was trying to get a better understanding of them, he thought maybe if he observes me might learn more about weakness shared by all Knightmares and how he can use those in case he would be attacked by them again.

Installing all programs, and all soft- and hardware, while Kyra equipped the Float System to the Guren, they were busy for a mere 30 minutes. Finally, after they were done, the Guren, still needing the paint, now was fully rebuilt.

"There is a paint sprayer over there and I have almost every coat of paint you can imagine. The machine I built mixes basic colors to make any shade you need." She pointed to where it was, "can't have you going around looking silly."

After another hour of picking the correct color, and putting it on, the Guren looked the same way it did before it entered battle with Uikou. "Thank you, for the help. If I can do anything for you as well, work, or something, just ask. But, I'll have to go do something first. Well, not now, but in some time ... "

"I can always use a partner to help with knightmare work. The pay is great and beers are on me after work. Don't die your mind is much too useful to be wasted on the battle field."

"She looked away, to the right arm she had rebuilt all by herself. "It's the place I belong, though. It's all I'm good at ... The only thing I have left."

"Well you can find your new place helping me. If we get married though we keep my last name." She laughed at the last part she was trying to be funny.

She looked away. "Nobody would anyway, no need worry about that ... " She then climbed up, and sat on the devicer chair, looking at the black screens inside the cockpit, still open.

"I wish I could help you more, I really do envy that mind that made the float system." Kyra sighed she knew this girl was likely not coming back.

"You have the data and the designs, you can duplicate it yourself now." She powered up the basic systems, and everything was working again, seen as her energy filler had been replenished.

"I want more of your ideas, so you better come back. I promised not to leak the system and I plan to keep that promise."
