Making a choice

An unstable portal opened above the ocean and tetsuno fell out but before he hit the water he spread his wings to catch himself. "Uhh...still gotta get the hang of that." He then looked around. "So...I'm back in the Human world..." He then sighed and looked up before flying over to the pier and landing.

*Acrysta sees him, and swims to shore. 'Why is he here?'*

He looked up at the sunrise and sighed. "A reaper huh?" He then closed his eyes to start thinking.

*Acrysta, still out of her armor and wings soaking wet, runs up to Tetsuno on the pier*

He opened his eyes hearing her and looked back then he turned and looked down. "Hmm..." He stood up and looked at her. "Hey...Acrysta."

"So...you know my 'real' name...huh?"

He nodded and walked over to her grabbing her hand gently. "Yeah...it's a beautiful name too." He blushed and smiled.

*Realizing she was out of her armor, she blushed a deep red* "Th-thanks..."

He sighed and looked at the sky again. "Hmmm..." He then kissed her cheek and stepped back. "If you want to put your armor now you can. "I can help if you want."

"My...my wings are still soaking wet...I'm going to let them dry..."

"Ok." He then closed his eyes entering a deep thought process again. "Acrysta....I met someone claiming to be your sister."

"Oh...you mean Aqay...we were 'blood' sisters...not related, but very close...until I died, that is..."

He looked at her. "When I took your life you mean. She seems to know me too and told me a bit of my past but then gave me an ultimatum." He sighed and looked down. "I'm not sure what to do."

"Neither do I...she's encouraging me to go after you...I don't know if I should."

"She is?" He leaned in and kissed her. "I want to stay with you but I'm not sure what the risk of giving up my job is."

*She blushed* "Yeah...and with Dark Ray...being, you know...mine...I don't know if I should pursue a relationship with you...and carry it that far..."

"Did she tell you about me at all or leave that up to me?" He moved over and grabbed her hand while wrapping his angelic wing around her.

"No...I never asked about you...I only asked about my past...or as much as I could think to ask..."

"I....took our life in the past and that was before you were an Obian...." He looked at her. "And if you get sick again in a way that would be deadly I would have to take your life again."

"...you would? Why?"

He looked at her. "I'm a reaper." He then turned and sighed. "I have a life around death basically."

*She walked up to him, and hugged him, her bare body against his* "Occupational hazard, maybe?" *She wrapped her still-wet wings around him*

He smiled and turned kissing her. "I was told I can't take both though." He smiled. "I'm going to stay with you Acrysta." He then cuddled in her wings.

"But what about your 'job'?"

"I have to give it up if I stay with you and if I keep my job I have to give you up." He then lay his head on her shoulder and squeezed her hand. "I'd rather risk death coming after me than losing you."
