Vance's home in monster world

Vance's home was a small building that was in the shadow of the castle. His home looks old and falling apart. Vance sat in his home watching Vayne sleep. When she rustled he would hum to her.

She woke up late at night and looked around. "Wh...Where am I?"

Vance smiled, "you are in my home sleeping in the extra bed. I figured you wouldn't like the coffin." Vance laughed.

She sat up and then grabbed his hand pulling him into the bed with her. "You really don't mind my eyes like this along with my skin?" She then blushed.

Vance bit her ear carefully, "you worry too much about looks."

She giggled a bit at his nibbling her ear and lay her head on his shoulder. "I didn't used to look like this though." She looked down. "It happened when I let my anger and sorrow take hold."

"Well maybe it will go back after you find a great happyness." Vance licked her neck where he had bitten her before.

She smiled a bit and then cuddled with him. "Hmm..." She then kissed his cheek. "Maybe"

"You can go back to sleep if you want." Vance was wide awake.

She pulled him down next to her and lay her head on his chest. "Ok..." She then yawned and curled up. "But I want you here."

Vance kissed her forehead, "if it is what you want." Vance started to hum.

She smiled and wrapped her wing around him. "Why don't you try sleeping at night?"

"I can't calm down, my senses stay active. I have been told some warlocks/witches can use calming magic that would let me sleep." Vance sighed.

She blinked and smiled a bit concentrating on the calming magic she learned when Pyrus used it on her.

Vance kissed her and bit her lower lip, "go to sleep already."

She smiled and bit his lip too. "I...I can't sleep anymore." She then rolled over and cuddled with him.

"Don't stay up because of me, we can work on me sleeping at night." Vance smiled.

She then cuddled closer and looked at him. "I'm good." She then curled up and wrapped a wing around herself. "I didn't even have wings until my emotions."

"I like them, they suit you very well." Vance touched one of her wings.

She smiled and her wing twitched. "Thanks." She then nipped at his ear and smiled.

He kept touching her wing, "it must be nice to fly in the skies." He shivered when she nipped him.

"You can fly can't you?" She looked at him and then kissed his cheek.

Vance thought a minute, "I can but it requires me to focus on my form let me show you." Vance got up and concentrates on his body. His arms turned into bat wings and his body got thin and way pale. He looked like half man half bat, and then he went back to normal. "I can even fully turn into a small bat." He laid back down with her. He was drained of energy and his skin looked paler.

She pulled her hair to the side. "Here."
