Return of The Dark King

A rift opened in the sky above the Arakai Forest and Sombra fell out landing on the ground. "Hmmm...so this is the Human World?" He then turned and started to walk off heading towards the nearest city he can find.

Behind him, from a trees shadow, Dark Ray rose up. "Welcome back, old friend." Only on a mere quarter of his full power, he was able to shapeshift from physical to shadow, and move on average speed. Attacks were out of the question, not to mention full combat.

He stopped hearing the voice and turned. "Dark Ray...long time." He then stretched. "So...been protecting this forest?"

"Hmm..." He then looked over at a tree and walked over grabbing a leaf off the ground. "I should show these people what it means to respect nature."

"Like they would show to care or understand. It's a lost cause." He followed Sombra, who was walking. Silently, without making any noise, and without a shadow, Dark Ray was next to him.

"And in that trying I gained all knowledge of those powers." He smirked. "I will be able to handle myself."

"You left me behind, which is not very smart. It took me 400 years to get lost in oblivion, I was hunted that entire time. The rest I just waited out in the recess of the civilisation. And to have you give it another shot, thinking you can take them on, that isn't a very solid plan. Where's the smart man we had before."

"Hmm...well I will make them learn some how." He then turned. "But I'll think about it."

"The woman, she's back as well. Though she developed amnesia. She does not recall me in any way, and seems to have put up with a half demon, half angel. What will be done about that? I'm useless at this point of time, since I'm recovering."

"I could go see them in a bit but right now I'm just looking for more power." He turned and looked at Dark Ray.

"A simple way." Dark Ray opened a portal, stable enough, but total wreck to someone of his caliber. "You know how to get in touch with me. Call me when you have sufficient power, or need me again, My Lord."

"I'll be back later then Dark Ray." he then stepped into the portal.

The portal collapsed right after, and Dark Ray felt a shift in the Human World. Something had changed hands, an item he was rather familiar with. He sunk into the ground, merging with the shadow of a tree again, and vanished towards the Human World.
