Nightly walk

"Oh. Okay, well, I can try to help you..."

"Envy me for having no emotions." She then looked up. "Let me put it this way...I don't befriend people, I don't love anyone, I don't even care for people so if they die even by my own hand accidentally I won't feel anything."

"I see that is saddening. I cannot imagine how it must feel." Serana laid her ears down.

"Never a moment of joy, sorrow, anger, anything." She looked down at Serana. "So that isn't anything to envy."

"I am sorry I did not think of that. I must seem like a jerk now." Serana's ears were still down.

She pet Serana. "It's ok...but your feeling bad intrigues me on how I should feel."

"Well...are you going to practice?"

"I could I guess..." She picked up Serana and then set her down. "So...where should I practice then?"

"I know a nice spot over here that you could practice in..."

"Ok..." She walked over with Mink knowing Serana won't be far behind.

"Here's a spot with no trees, nothing to burn or destroy. Except the ground, of course..."

She blinked and looked around "Ok..." She then stretched a bit. "So...what to do to practice my spells?"

"I have no idea, i can conjure fire at will, so I don't use any spells..."

She blinked. "What do you think since you know more about magic?" She said this while looking at Serana.

"Pyrus taught me a trick to using magic. You have to feel the magic and imagine your magic is a resvoir that you pull magic from. Then from there you can start to focus on what kind of spells to use that suits your most needs."

She blinked. "I see..." She didn't know how to do this but didn't express any confusion at all physically. "How do I do this?"

"This is why he is a fool. That gravity magic you used it before imagine it like that but instead of forcing the tree down I want you to imagine it is on fire."

"Ok...but I have no control over fire." She tilt her head. "How would this help?"

"Because to master your magic you need to understand other magics. Rule number one of survival using only one tactic will get you killed." Serana was yawning.

She blinked. "There's a small problem...I can't learn other magics because well it's complicated to explain."

"Okay, you two have fun, I've got something to get back to."

She blinked and looked at Mink..."Ok.." She looked back at Serana and sat down. "If you have time I could try to explain I guess."

"Sigh this is going to be tuff. To better control magic you have to be able to adapt. Close your eyes and think about your gravity spell. Burn the image in your mind of how the.spell works and find the flaws in it.... I do not like using this lesson since it can be debastating if you lose focus."

"Look...here's the thing with my kind....we're not able to learn magic usually...unless the body we have could use it and even then we could only use what that body knew already to learn any more we have to be attacked by other spells."
