Occupation by the Knights

She turned and looked at her. "Hey Okasan." She smiled and hugged her.

"Hey, little one. How've you been holding up?"

"Good..." She then looked up at her and smiled kissing her cheek. "Can we talk in private a bit?"

They found themselves in C.C.'s room, right after she asked it. "what's what you wantd to talk about?"

She sat down. "So I heard you invaded this world. I want to talk about my world. Please tell me you don't plan to invade it."

"Would you mind if I did?"

"Yes...I mean my family has ruled it for thousands of years. We've been trying to make it better ever since we took over it." She then sighed. "If you do want to try then I want to make a deal."

"A deal? What deal did you have in mind then?"

"If you don't invade the demon world then I'll have the demon world be an ally with Pendragon and help as much as we can." She lay her head on her own hand to rest a bit.

C.C. looked down at Namide. "You think I am interested in an alliance? My dear, this is not about power, or combined rulership. This is about something else. Something far beyond your understanding. And it's too late for your offers already."

She sighed. "Okasan....please don't do this." She looked up at her. "I don't like combat and I said I won't fight to Gino but..." She looked away.

C.C. suddenly looked a lot taller, and darker then before. The room seemed to be far larger as well. "You think you have the right to call me that. Nobody does."

"You raised me so I see you as my mother so of course your Okasan to me." She then stood up. "But I will only fight if it means I have to protect my son's home. I want him to still have a home."

"Foolish woman. I'm not out to destroy anything." Things appeared to revert to normal standards again. C.C. walked to the window, with her back to Namide. "I'm not your mother. Your mother is dead. I'm taking control of the Demon World, as the last step. The Angel World has already given their throne to me, the Human World doesn't dare to do a thing, and the Monster World is no obstacle anymore either. Which leaves only the Demon World." She turned to Namide. "So, it's on you. Will you surrender, or will you fight."

"I won't fight if you promise to let me and Harkon stay at the castle. As long as Harkon has a home I won't fight."

"Very well. The castle is of no use to me. You can have it." She turned around again, no longer talking.

She walked over to C.C. and hugged her. "And I know your not my mother but I still think of you as one."

As Namide tried to hug her, she went right through C.C., as if she wasn't even there. "Why don't you understand. I'm taking the worlds for a reason. Ignis' pride caused him to fall off, instead of handing it to me. There is a reason I'm doing this."

"Why are you taking the demon world from me then?" She moved over to a chair and sat down. "Hmm?"

"You can't understand it yet. You have a child to take care of. You have to carry on your family, your bloodline. For me, there is nobody left, but myself." She looked to the ground. "I need something to do."

She blinked. "You have me." She then looked at her. "I'm basically like your own child even if my mother asked you to look after me." She smiled. "I've grown some of your traits and grew up with you raising me."

"You may say that." Namide saw something drip on the floor. It was a golden liquid. "You're concern is your son. Nothing more. And Guilford, as soon as I bring him back."

She shook her head. "Your also a concern of mine. I Love you Okasan."

"No, you don't. Nobody does, nobody can. Because of one simply reason. Nobody but me knows who I am."

She sighed. "You always can tell me." She then looked down. "I'm always willing to listen."
