Utlop was at the castle looking around he had just returned to the castle after doing a mission to tie up some loose ends. The guards were all giving him a hard time as it had been a while since he was here and most of them didn't know who he was. "Damn these guards making me prove who I am." He was not too happy he would find the head of the guards and give them a stern talking to about the guards not knowing someone as important as him by face.

The sleek shuttle arrived at the central landing platform of the Castle, at the west wing. As the machine landed, the doorway opened up, revealing the occupants. The first to exit was Naya, in her regular red leather suit with a bottle in her hands. Behind her, another Demon followed, physically a lot more impressive than the relatively skinny Naya, except that he was bound and held by the two Royal Guards at his sides. The 4 exited the shuttle and parted their ways, Naya heading to the highest tower, which had become a makeshift Council chamber for the three Triade leaders, while the guards escorted their most unlucky victim downstairs, towards the dungeons.

As Naya entered the tower room, she noticed Utlop looking out over their kingdom before him. They'd all three gotten quite far from where they started off and it was quite odd to think they now ruled all of this world together. Especially with what happened and how easily, or lucky, the Humans had been.

"What's the word on Belthazor?"

He looks over at her, "hard to say I haven't gotten any word from Belthazor in a while. I was off doing a job that could not be done by any of my other operatives." He had calmed his emotions he did not want to lose face in front of Naya, but it was clear that he was annoyed.

She walked up to him and stood at his side, looking over the vast lands under them. Though it may not look like much at first glance, it was their home. And their realm to protect. She looked down at the bottle in her hand. Gin. Some weird human drink. What they lacked in style, honor and power, they made up for in their innovation. It was weird to think that such feeble creatures could make such good things, like this gin. She'd have to keep it for a special occassion, whenever that would be.

"He's in deep, he'll report in. Roach is progressing well, though I heard there's some sort of interference from the Humans. It's hard to make out what he meant, but one of his patrols vanished near a gate. At laest we have the Angel Garde at our side there. I hope. And what's up with you?"

He glanced at the bottle, then back out the window. "I had to tie up some loose ends. A group of people knew a bit too much about me and what I do." A bit of black lightning surged around his body. "I didn't even have to use my power. If you do not mind me asking where did the bottle come from?" His way of speaking was still very formal all the years working in the castle was showing.

"Some retarded Demon thought he could bribe me with pleasantries and drinks into upping his status. I was surprised he didn't offer himself to me, though it probably wasn't far off."

She recalled the encounter all too well. It was like he had a brain lapse, or was simply so dumb that he didn't even know what he was doing. Could've been old age, or the solitude had driven him insane. He should be comfortable in a dungeon by now, but he wasn't worth more thought than that.

"Held onto this bottle. It's fun what those Humans can make, despite their weaknesses."

He nodded, "you know being in a position of power you have to deal with people like that all the time. Sometimes it is better to use them and give them hope instead of disposing of them. I have tried many of the human's drinks. They just make you into a fool if you drink it. I suggest you drink that in moderation." He closed his eyes for a brief moment, "did he have anything worth using at least or was it a wasted trip?"

She managed a chuckle. She knew that dealing with them was a requirement, especially since she handled internal affairs, but even so, that didn't make it any easier or any less bothersome. At least it wasn't as bad as back in the Invasion Force in the Human World. That Warleader was a true disaster. The sheer fact that he actually fell for their trap alone was something else entirely.

"Nothing. He actually told me his wife, an Angel, might have valuable intel on getting past the security int he Angel world. He had no knowledge whatsoever about the situation. Then he even had the balls to lie about his daughters kill count, trusting her to have killed several hundred humans, and told me he was proud. I don't think he even knows what pride means. He's a waste of space."

Utlop let a slight smile escape, "noble families always like the brag and never keep up to date with things. My job is the only reason I know what is going on in the worlds. Maybe his daughter will be useful if she is half angel. I could always use another agent. I say let him rot for a few days then release him. If not anything we could use more funds."

She had looked forward to at least doing some damage to him. But the sheer incompetence he displayed to her made her wonder if he even would contact his daughter in a positive sense. Most likely he'd just snap her neck, since it wasn't his fault, but that of his daughter. Unlikely he'd be useful, and in terms of his wealth, they could simply absorb his possessions and estate into their own property. Simple and quick.

"I wanna play around with him a bit myself. And no point in releasing him, if he does know where his daughter is, he'll likely hunt her down for embarrasing him like this. He blames her for lying to me, rather than being suspicious of her words. Pathetic."

Utlop sighed, "well try not to make too much work for me. I know how you like to 'play'. I would not want to be on your bad side." He had a lot of respect for Naya, "was there anything else you needed from me?"

He'd been there once, only once, when she went berserk. Which was 50% of the times she did, since it took a lot of pressure and aggrevation for her to even get to that point. It seemed to have left quite the impression, due to the respect he'd given her since. Though the same could be said for him. He'd always been loyal, and that exact loyalty is what had secured him the spot as the third Triade Leader. That and his accomplishments.

"No, not really. Just wondering what is going on out there. And jealous of Roach. Should've taken the shot to be there myself."

"Roach was the most suited for that job. It is a shame to waste your talents on internal affairs." Utlop understood the feeling of jealousy Naya was feeling. He turned his back to her.

"So he is. Still, someone has to do my job. It's not all battle and glory, that's what we all knew already when we first signed up for this."

Despite knowing that, it didn't help. But she'd dwindled enough about those things. The first shipment of Angels had come in hours ago, and it was about due time they made use of them. Some had suggested they should experiment on them, weapons or even darker powers. Others wanted to use them to replenish the food stocks. Then there were the ideas to make slaves of them. But she knew that none of those ideas were any good, except maybe the second.

"First Angel group is in, by the way. People came up with some crazy ideas as to what we can do with them. I suggest we put a few in the Arena to prove themselves, give our people something to be entertained with and perhaps even feed the beasts."

"If that is what you desire to do with them. I have no use for the angels myself as they would make terrible agents." He only cared about doing his job and recruiting more agents, "I take no joy in killing it is simply a means to an ends a job. Maybe one day we will share a glass of that bottle you are holding there when we truly have won." He started to walk away.

For all the strength displays and power shows, and now their dominance in the Angel World, she knew, deep down, that they were in fact very fragile at this point. They just came out of a war with the Humans, heavily wounded, and now they were stretching their forces throughout both the Angel World and their own. Sure, the Angels were helping them, but that settlement in the North there was keeping them busy, and the last reports from Belthazor weren't exactly encouraging. As Utlop got to the door, she turned over to him and tossed him a coin, giving him a quick whistle to let him know something was flying his way.

"See if you can find out how old that is. We found it in the tunnels beneath the dungeons, along with corpses dating back at least a couple thousand years, and still surging with power of whatever it was that offed them. Don't tell anyone else. It's need to know only."

He caught the coin, "isn't it always need to know when you give me a job?" He looked at the coin, "I will get to the bottom of this and report my findings to you."
