Endgame - Team 1

Yasuo had called them all together in the main tent. He'd asked Azir to clear out the area around them to avoid them being overheard, or people listening in. "Tonight, we strike Pendragon at the heart. I've arranged with our sponsor and funder, Miss Sarah Fortune-" He nodded at their guest, a beautiful woman with red waving hair falling over her shoulders. "- to arrange transpot into the Government Complex. Now, as you all know, we've recently had an unrelated attack. A young girl infiltrated here with the intention to kill me. We've had a good heart to heart a couple minutes ago, and she's agreed to help us in the attack." Akame was let into the tent by the two sand soldiers at the front. She refused to look around, knowing full well the majority would want her either hanging or in chains. "She's one of us now, so treat her as such. Now, moving on to the actual plan. You are divided into 3 teams. Each will strike a key objective. Me and Azir will not join you in the actual complex at the first phase. We are going to create a diversion that should draw the majority of their forces away. You'll still have their Demonic Arms users to worry about, and as Fiora told me, 3 more PROJECTs running around. Do not underestimate them, they're highly lethal and dangerous." He divided the group into teams. Team 1 would be Fiora and Lysandra, responsible for shutting down lights and communication. Team 2 was Nadia and Rosaline, who would clear the halls in a specific order to create a way for Team 3. Team 3, Akame and Leon, would be the essential ones. Their task is to get through the whole building, find the Prime Minister, and either take him alive, or kill him. Preference was alive. While Team 3 had entered, Team 2 was responsible for holding off reinforcements.

The comms channel opened up for all 3 teams and Reinhardt could be heard over it. "If you can, try not to kill the PROJECTs, because like Fiora they are being taken control of by Pendragon. As for the Demonic Arms users be careful around them everyone."

Fiora followed Lysandra to the Generator rooms. Though she was a project of the government, she'd never had a tour of the buildings. She had no clue where they were and was reliant on Lysandra's orientation. Out of precaution, she'd also taken 2 clips along for the girl, in case she ran out. Couldn't hurt, she figured.

Lysandra was fuzzy with directions herself, but had seen an overhead map a few times to know where everything was generally. She hurried down the hall, a firearm she wasn't used to in hand. "Understood." As much as she wanted to, she would help them, and go her own way afterwards. "Come on Fiora." Everything was strangely empty, which unnerved her a bit.

Fiora followed, keeping an eye on their rear. Last thing they needed was an ambush from behind with nowhere but an empty hall to go. They'd be mowed down. Her voice was unchanged from when she was under Pendragons control, but at least she had the choice of what she said now. "No other PROJECTs are nearby. I don't sense any."

"That's good, at least. Our objective is to shut stuff down, right?" She rounded a corner, checking around them for any signs of people.

"Kill the light and kill communication. I can see in dark without issues, I don't know how you fare in such a situation. We should radio it through the moment before we shut it down, so that all have a heads up."

"Right." She looked at the map she'd picked up. "Control rooms are...that way, I think." She moved through the hallway, and into a large room. This one too, was empty. "What in the world...are you sure you don't sense anyone else nearby?"

"No PROJECTs, at least. I can't sense people, but all PROJECTs were implemented with proximity alarms. Meaning that you automatically are aware when another PROJECT is nearby. I guess for optimal teamwork." She had the rapier in her hand already for the sake of being prepared.

"I see." She approached the control panel, radioing in their position. "This is team one to com. We are at the control room for the generators, standing by for instructions."

While Lysandra worked the controls, Fiora stepped outside. She recognized something. It was one of them. Not Lucian. He was back in the camp, though he had tried to remain unnoticed. A shuriken that bounced off of her armored shoulderplate gave the answer. "Zed." She raised the rapier, looking upon the ninja-like PROJECT. "I'll deal with this one."

As the lights went out, Fiora's visor automatically switched over to a version of nightvision. She lunged at Zed, her rapier clashing with his armblades. She had to find a way to free him as well without killing him. If that even was possible by conventional ways. The explosion of the generators in Arakai hadn't kills Lucian, so she started to wonder what might.

Meanwhile as Lysandra was in the control room, a little girl entered, hardly 13 years of age. "You know you shouldn't screw around with this stuff." Yuu stood there, the orange in her bracelets gleaming, ready to be activated.

She turned around, barely able to make out the girl's figure. "Well, I assume you know how to operate this stuff better?"

The bracelets lit up orange as her Demonics Arms activated into Ogre Fists. She took a swing at Lysandra with power, not caring about collateral damage. "Better than some rebel scum!"

Lysandra ducked out of the way, rolling to the side with her weapon at the ready. "I sent many to their deaths...because you people like experimenting on people, like my mother!" She came to a stop, finger on the trigger. "I was taken at a young age...I grew up with parents not my own, but I still gave a few years of my life to the government out of ignorance."

"Yeah, and now look what you do, destroying cities with your idea of revolution and ruining families by tearing them apart!" She smashed the fists into the ground near Lysandra, causing shards to fly around at her location.

Fiora and Zed dueled it out in the hallway. They were evenly matched, Zed with full programming, Fiora with extended training. The only advantage was Zed's, with multiple shadow twins.

Lysandra jumped back, shooting a round at the girl. "I tore families apart even before I left! Just because you guys can't stand having people like me among you!"

Yuu felt the bullet dig into her shoulder. Young as she was, she staggered back from the pain, into the inky darkness near the control panels. She knew she didn't have much time, so she had to decide what to do at this point. But much time to think she wasn't given, as the wall at her left burst open, Zed flying through the room with Fiora following him. They couldn't destroy each other. The PROJECTs were nearly indestructible.

Lysandra came to a stop. "So what excuse do you have to counter that? I've been tearing families apart since high school. I grew up believing that people like myself were inhuman. I know now that we're just as human as anyone else, even if we aren't really a human, like Astraria." She pointed her gun at the girl again. "She's the most peaceful girl I know, and she's an Angel. Angels are meant for peace, not war. You chased her out of the city, made her feel unwanted. I can't condone that." She shot again, this time the bullet was charged with electricity.

Zed stood up from the rubble, onto to take a shot in the torso from Lysandra's gun. The electricity that went through him crashed the software that kept him under control. The limb body fell back on the ground, sparks coming off of him every now and then. Yuu took the chance to flee the scene. If that woman could take out a PROJECT, then she was better off being elsewhere. She jumped through the hole Fiora'd created, deactivating the straining Demonic Arms, as the whole building suddenly shook. A good amount of halls further they could hear the clear sounds of an explosion, and the shivers of the ground confirmed it all too well.
