Endgame - Team 3

Yasuo had called them all together in the main tent. He'd asked Azir to clear out the area around them to avoid them being overheard, or people listening in. "Tonight, we strike Pendragon at the heart. I've arranged with our sponsor and funder, Miss Sarah Fortune-" He nodded at their guest, a beautiful woman with red waving hair falling over her shoulders. "- to arrange transpot into the Government Complex. Now, as you all know, we've recently had an unrelated attack. A young girl infiltrated here with the intention to kill me. We've had a good heart to heart a couple minutes ago, and she's agreed to help us in the attack." Akame was let into the tent by the two sand soldiers at the front. She refused to look around, knowing full well the majority would want her either hanging or in chains. "She's one of us now, so treat her as such. Now, moving on to the actual plan. You are divided into 3 teams. Each will strike a key objective. Me and Azir will not join you in the actual complex at the first phase. We are going to create a diversion that should draw the majority of their forces away. You'll still have their Demonic Arms users to worry about, and as Fiora told me, 3 more PROJECTs running around. Do not underestimate them, they're highly lethal and dangerous." He divided the group into teams. Team 1 would be Fiora and Lysandra, responsible for shutting down lights and communication. Team 2 was Nadia and Rosaline, who would clear the halls in a specific order to create a way for Team 3. Team 3, Akame and Leon, would be the essential ones. Their task is to get through the whole building, find the Prime Minister, and either take him alive, or kill him. Preference was alive. While Team 3 had entered, Team 2 was responsible for holding off reinforcements.

The comms channel opened up for all 3 teams and Reinhardt could be heard over it. "If you can, try not to kill the PROJECTs, because like Fiora they are being taken control of by Pendragon. As for the Demonic Arms users be careful around them everyone."

Akame secured her weapon. She'd been brought up to speed concerning Demonic Arms by Azir. If they encountered a Demonics Arms user, and she fought him or her, it would be death for one. Not that she was too bothered with that. She followed Leon as they walked through the empty hall, already cleared by Team 2.

"What is your preference?" Leon asked quietly as the pair cautiously made their way down the hall. "We have the choice of killing of capturing the minister. Kill is sure to be easier but he might be able to provide Intel that we need."

Leon sent Akame a sideways glance, he still couldn't tell if she was pissed or not from their last encounter, and he didn't really care. He did want this operation to be a success though.

She pressed herself against the wall as she heard footsteps. She signaled Leon to be silent and back away a bit, then as the moment came, 2 armed soldiers came around the corner. Akame bumped into them, putting up a distraught face. "He's here to kill the Prime Minister, please, you have to stop him!" The soldiers instantly raised their guns at Leon, ordering him get on his knees. Akame, now behind them, slashed the blade swiftly across their backs, the 2 men dropping on the ground without any realization of what happened. "He said preference was alive. so we try alive."

Leon took a second to examine the bodies. The slash marks were made with terrifying efficiency. The poison had a part in the lethal kill as well. Leon followed Akame as they reached another corner. A quick peak around showed no one. The halls were supposed to have been cleared, but it seemed that not all the guards had left their posts. Leon sent out a demonic pulse and two more guards appeared on his sonar.

"Two more just around that next corner." Leon warned. "We need to be careful."

The comms opened again this time for Team 3 only. "Akame I want you to be careful because there are Demonic Arms users, and if any Demonic Arms users fight it's to the death. If you can let Leon fight them first. It's not that I think you will lose Akame, it's just better to be safe."

She tapped her ear while nodding in confirmation to Leons statement. "I know already." She felt out of place already, being the "villain" in the team of heroes. With the guy who forced his will on her giving her advice and the guy whom she argued with previously being her teammate, she had a slight urge to abandon the whole deal and go solo. But something Azir had told her prevented her from doing so. "They're yours."

"I will be counting on you for back up if things go south." Leon hoped he could count on her. He quietly move forward and stopped at the next corner and took a peek around to see their opponents.

One of them was mostly covered by standing in another hallway. The other was a young woman, red hair over her shoulders and black leather-like outfit as if she was a rogue agent of sorts. She had a belt around her thigh with small throwing knives, 2 shortblades on her back, 1 at her hip, and a couple more throwing knives attached to her belt. The moment Leon peeked, she noticed him and with surprising speed launched one of the throwing knives at him. It would have hit him in the face had he not been fast enough to pull back. Instead, it dug itself into the wall with the clang of metal burying itself in metal.

Leon leap back calling back to Akame. "None of them are demonic weapon users!" Leon's senses hadn't picked up anything. He immediately removed his limiter and his wings protruded from his back. Green eyes glowing, he charged his attack and then he rounded the corner again. With a yell he launched his attack forward right at his assailant.

From around the corner, a woman in heavy armor, quite alike that of Fiora, raised her shield to take this hit of Leons attack. Akame followed up jumping onto Leons shoulder, then launching herself over the PROJECT, Leona, at the red-haired girl, who clashed against Akame's blade with 2 of her own shortblades.

The dark wouldn't matter. He assume all four combatants could either see in the dark or could maneuver perfectly in it. Leon shot forward closing the distance between his opponent and himself. he would rather not leave Akame to get double teamed. He hand was charged with demonic power and he thrust it forward.

Akame and the girl, known as Katarina, fought fiercly, sparks coming from their blades as they found each other. Akame had an icecold calculation which Katarina perfectly managed to counter. They removed themselves more and more from the other 2.

As Leon came at her, Leona planted her shoulder against the shield and pushed forward, crashing the shield with her full strength back into Leon, to not only block his incoming attack, but to have him smash into the nigh unbreakable shield with his full momentum.

Leon saw the counter and attack and attempted to fly above the counter. As he did so he shot a rain of energy shot down Leona.

Her shield bashed into him with considerable force. As she felt the collision, she pulled out a blade with the same yellow energy as the shield had, then activated an energy shield, a minor dome around herself only, to absorb Leon's incoming attack.

Katarina managed to counter every attack Akame sent, but she was losing ground. One split second she left an opening, and Akame took it, planting her boot into Katarina's stomach. she sent her flying through the doors of the Prime Ministers office, who jumped up startled at the dramatic entrance.

Leon was flung back from the shield bash and landed hard. (4/5) He observed as his attack landed on Leona and readied himself for the next attack. He hoped that Akame was doing alright, regardless of her original alliances he would hate to have an ally die.

Leona got up from her kneeling position. The energy shield had faded away. With a fling of her sword, she smashed the shields bottom into the ground. A powerful burst, energy that lit the hallway up intensely, shot at Leon, almost filling the entire hall.

Katarina got on her feet quickly, nodding at the Prime Minister to leave. He hurried out of the office to a side chamber. Akame yelled back at Leon, who was in the hall behind her fighting Leona. "He's getting away!" She then dashed at Katarina, her katana blocked by the blades yet again.
