*In the forest, Zeke would be tinkering in his workshop. He was trying to fix something he found at the ruins.* "How does this even work.." *He would ask himself, though he held no answer. He would continue trying to improve and fix the thing he had found: Some broken handcuffs.* "How did these even break.. nevermind.." *He would cointinue having a small conversation with himself, the sound of him working carrying on through the forest.*

Vayne landed on top of the roof of a small building with a slightly loud thud, before sitting and resting. "Hmm...I may have got lost...I went west and yet there's a building here. Either I'm lost or this world has changed a lot since the time I've been gone."

*Zeke would be working when there was semi loud noise above him. Zeke looked upwards, and decided where the noise came from above him. He put down what he was working on and went to go check it out. As he made his way to the door, he tripped on some material, tools as well. He got up and continued. After getting out, Zeke climbed up.* "Why are you on my roof? I mean.. Its a nice roof but still."

She looked at the kid and blinked before tilting her head. "Hmm...I'm just resting for now." She then laid back. "why does it matter to you?"

"Well, Its no everyday someone goes on the roof of my workshop, And if you want to rest, I have a platform on the tree with sleeping material." *He would point at the tree, It sure enough would have a platform on it with a sleeping bag.*

"Why?" She looked up at the sky her voice sounding empty as she spoke. She then took her hat off and set it to the side her white hair more visible now.

*Zeke would be surprised at the white hair, confused as to how it was white aside from being Dyed. He would mentally note the empty sounding voice for later reference ands continue.* "So that I can continue working without the risk of my roof breaking."

"Are you implying I'm fat?" She looked at him, a blank expression on her face, as she sat up and brushed hair away from her eyes. "Also you seem too young to own a building."

"No, Im implying that I didn't use very good materials for this workshop. I had to build it myself, using minor help.. why do you think its small?" *Zeke would grow somewhat irritated, but he would calm himself realizing he can be the same way at times.*

Vayne laid back down again. "I won't be taking orders from such a young child so I think I'll stay here." She then grabbed her hat and put it back on her head.

*Zeke could tell this action was likely done to irritate him. He then had a thought, which grew into a question.* "Who are you, anyway? If you climbed up my roof I would've heard.. and the tree is too far to make a jump to here. So how did you do it?" *He would have a suspicion that this person was similar to the winged person he saw.*

"I flew and needed to rest. Why does it matter?" She then stretched and covered her eyes with the brim of her hat.

*He would be surprised at the response, and the tone of voice.* "You flew here. It matters because usually people cant fly without assistance of wings and such, which I see none of."

"Hmm.." *He would be thinking, about the possibility of magic. Zeke had been healed almost instantly some time ago. No modern healing methods can do that so why couldn't it be magic?* "And how would a necklace produce an illusion.."

"Magic" She said it sarcastically but due to her voice sounding like there was no emotion behind it, the sarcasm sounded fake. "Why would it matter to you, humans can't use magic anymore anyway."

*Zeke thought about what this person said, his thoughts going to Beats. He (Beats) was able to use something like magic, whatever it was.* "Ive seen some humans who can do something like magic.. "

"It seems humans stopped studying magic and worried more about technology now though, so most can't use magic anymore, some may be born being able to use it still."

"So are you saying your a human born with the abilities of magic?" *Zeke would have a random idea* "Can you like.. give me laser eyes or something?!"

She sighed. "This body used to be human...lets see.." She sat up looking up ta the night sky while thinking. "Hmm..22,010" years ago. Though the original owner of this body died...and her foolish brother tried to revive her."

"So.. are you saying youre from the time that humans knew magic?" *Zeke would be utterly confused.*

"Yes." She then stood up, "From a few of the times that they knew magic. However as they grew they slowly stopped studying it. Now it seems they don't study it at all anymore." She looked at him. "Why does it matter to you though?

"Well, wouldn't you be interested to learn that your race once held powerful abilities like that?" *Zeke would still wonder if humans did use magic, this person could just be attempting to trick him.*

She looked at his face trying to read his body language. "Hmm...my race can't learn magic except by being hit by it."
