Keeping the Rythem

Beats was losing his mind, he almost got in trouble for stalking Astraria to some building that looked like where people go to clean themselves, if he would have gotten caught the last thing he would need is people that cared for her to come looking for him and teach him a lesson. He was only trying to prevent the two idiots to find out that she was an angel and one of them was a sophisticated military AI. He was going to go find Astraria at the camp to tell her what happened before anything else goes wrong, he switched off his headphones to make sure the AI wasn't going to bother him in the weirdest way possible. "Ok, dot to find Astraria and fix this whole mess."

Astraria was on her makeshift stage again, singing in the early morning air. Her voice was carried along with the wind, drifting into the camp. The crowd was captivated by her song, watching her every move with a fixed gaze.

Beats was in the middle of camp and saw a crowd of people watching somebody singing, he guessed there is only one person who sings that good to captivate an audience. he headed towards the crowd to see if his hunch was correct.

Astraria danced about as she sang, her robe flowing along with her graceful movement. More and more people gathered around her to watch her morning performance, crowding out Beats. As her current song finished, she started another song, this one in the Angelic language. The song carried with it a hint of magic, due to the nature of the language.

The crowd was blocking Beats view of Astraria singing on stage, but he had no way of getting threw the crowd, so he decided to go around them to try and get a better view. "Man, people are so rude, can't even watch friend sing."

The song she sang was a short one, and she let her voice fade slowly. She bowed as the crowd cheered her on. "Thank you for listening this morning. May you all be blessed~." She made her way off stage, the crowd dispersing. She sat on a chair, relaxing. 'They all seem happy, and that is a good thing.'

Beats manged to get around the crowd and made it to the stage, but by the time he got there Astraria had already finished her song and made her way off stage to take a break. He saw her sitting in a chair, so that was his chance to talk to her. "That was great song you just sang."

"Oh, why thank you, mister Beats." She smiled. "I assume you were in the crowd just now?"

"Yeah, but couldn't get through the crowd though, so I guess you liked my idea of singing to the people of the camp to lift their spirits." Beats would find a spot to sit next to Astraria, he was getting a little tired of just standing.

"It was a wonderful idea indeed. They seem so happy when I sing for them. One comfort in a world of turmoil. I even get little flowers from the children. So thank you for suggesting it." She chuckled. "Did you need me for something? Or are you just here to say hello?"

"Oh, just came to say hi and see how you're doing, so did anything interesting happen." Beats would try and play it cool and see if Astraria noticed something the other day like him and Zeke stalking her, so that he can make things right.

She stared at him. "Interesting how?" She blushed a bit, remembering the incident at the bath the day before.

"Just something that would make a boring day interesting that's all, I get bored sometimes, so like to hear interesting stories." He would try to set her up to see if anything did happen on that day, and hopefully she wouldn't notice what he was asking about.

She looked away. "W-well...I was at one of the bath houses yesterday...and..." She went red. "...s-someone was looking in on me. I-I couldn't see them...but I could sense their presences. I...had to fly home to bathe in private."

Beats would look surprised by her story and would say to himself. "So, she did know about us stalking her, but luckily she didn't now it was me and Zeke, ok play it cool." He would talk to Astraria about that day. "So somebody was stalking you or something, and you never figured out who it was?"

"No...I never figured it out...and it bothers me a little." She shook her head. "I-It can not be Dimitre...h-he's my boyfriend...he would never do such a thing..."

"You have a boyfriend Astraria?." He got intrigued when she mentioned she had a boyfriend. Being an angel he figured that they would outlive humans anyway.

"Y-yes." She looked at him. "But I don't think that he would do such a thing. H-he can barely look at me while I'm without my robe." She shook her head, wondering why she was sharing this stuff with Beats. His emotions told her that he knew more than he was letting on. "D-do you know anything about this?"

"No, don't anything." Beats started to feel a little uneasy, he was thinking to himself did she figure something out, was she on to him. He tried to get her off topic to confuse and make her think ogf something else. "So your boyfriend, what's he like?"

Her gaze turned to a glare. "You're lying...you know something. I am an Angel, I can read your emotions. Please be honest, mister Beats."

Beats cracked under pressure from Astraria's glare and now knowing she can read people, he would spill the beans on what happened that day. "Ok~, my friend Zeke got healed by you and he figured your weren't human so he tried following to see if you were human or not. I tried to stop him, but he saw you fly away."

She went red. "O-oh dear..." She would have to be even more careful from now on...because if the people of the camp found out...they might chase her out. "...s-so he knows...I am an Angel?"

"Yeah, I tried my best to keep him away from you and not to figure out your secret." Beats would apologize to her about stalking her with Zeke. "He's a really good guy, but his curiosity gets the better of him."

"B-but watching me while I bathed!?" She smacked Beats, standing up and walking off into the forest. "Th-that is not a good person!"

Beats face would fall to the ground after Astraria smacks him across the face, he holds the spot on his face that he got smacked. He knew this would happen and was paying the price for it, as he saw her take off in the other direction, he quickly got up and tried to walk after her. "Please, I wasn't watching you in the bath and besides I didn't know it was a bath house!"
