A few drinks at the pub.

Shane had just gotten off of work as a police officer, he was rather new to the job and witnessed a lot of what had been going on unannounced in the city. It was a lot to take in so he went to the pub with a few other officers, however, they were the first to leave as he continued to drink.

Gabriel had been sitting on a corner couch in the far end of the bar, observing the officers. He knew, most likely, they would be investing any of his cases he made the last few days. He was catching up pretty fast to his former count, and seeing people as desperate, being in power, it gave him the feeling he was as powerful as he thought he was. With the newly acquired powers, he'd have to test a bit, figure out how they worked.

Shane was on the case of mysterious deaths within the city, he drank in hopes he would cope, but he had little to no leads as to where to look. "If i was a killer, where would i be?" He shook his head, he didn't know anything about the criminal mind.

Gabriel used the chance to play his game. He stood up, and walked to the man, hanging on the bar, requesting a martini. "You look like you got a problem to solve."

He looked over at the man,"oh really, what makes you think that?"

"Just, the frown, the expression you make, like you are trying really hard on something. Need any help?"

"I guess I could use some help, but i don't think you could handle it."

"Now why would you think that?"

"You don't look like an officer, you haven't seen half the stuff i have."

"No, I'm not an officer." He looked up, innocent as could be. "I'm a paramedic, and I've seen some things."

"I see, then i guess we both have an understanding in this field. Well, i'm looking for a killer. I've seen the scenes from this guy, pretty strange."

"Have you found any signature thing? Maybe a certain way they lie, or a way they have been killed, or with what?" He got up, after taking in the martini, and offered the man to follow him.

He got up and followed the man, "yea, from what i saw he cuts open the head, maybe it's a trademark."

"Now why would he do that?"He was grinning a bit, while the man was following him to the little street at the back of the pub.

"Why would anyone do that? Probably just making a statement or something."

"Maybe not statement, but more a way to do what he likes most." He chuckled a bit.

"From that laughing it sounds like you like stuff like that."

"Well, would you believe me if I told you I did those?"

Shane laughed, "you don't look it, I have detective instincts." By now he was a little on the drunk side.

"Well, I guess I have that on my side then." He pushed the man against the wall with his telekinesis. "You detectives. You don't get anything."

He threw-up on the man, "sorry 'bout that, what were you saying?"

"You are useless to me. Maybe would have been a bit of fun, but you just had to be drunk." He moved his finger in a movement, and walked away, leaving the man behind, his throat cut open.

Shane grabbed his throat but was to the point of intoxication he couldn't hold his hand still long enough to try and stop the bleeding. It wasn't too long before he bleed out.
